So one of the things MDickie does is that his AI interacts with the world the same was as the player does. Most developers will make the AI goal oriented, meaning if they are going to pick up a weapon, they are programmed to walk over to the weapon and pick it up. In MDickie games, they have to turn towards it, walk to it, press the interact button, and hope that they are interacting with the right thing. This leads to all the super awkward situations that makes his games so brilliant.

The only problem with MDickie games is that they do not explain how they work. I've been playing Wrestling MPire for like 2 years now and it's still a great game. In one of my playthroughs, i've injured MDickie so badly that he had all his limbs missing except for the right leg. I hope this game will eventually get remastered properly.
