7:38 What do you mean "the same thing Askeladd had" ? Anger? Its not a super power to be "steaming with anger" Askeladd's aura of anger was just very palpable to someone like Thorfin who's a warrior, he could pick up on it as where the king didn't even flinch or "taste" the animosity coming off him. It's purely artistic expression, based loosely in the idea that you can "read peoples aura" which, being an artist at a very young age maybe is the key, I use to see that aura but lost the ability quickly. I think there's a little something to it but its impossible to test in the real world. But the way Askeladd got angry, I felt like that before too, I could feel my own heat just shunting off my body like something between an intense workout in the sun and a cold sweat.

Jeff: why do non of these poeple fight back ? Him a couple of mints later after einar failed escape attempt: i mean he right , i would just put up with this find a good master and then ... me : EXACTLY 🙃 that's how slavery works , a very well built syst made to psychologically manipulate a sane human into believing that being a good slave might be better then an estranged, starving , hunted , shunned free man 😑
