VINNIE VINCENT SAVED KISS !!!!!!! By early 1982, Kiss was ALREADY in decline. The 70's had come to an end and disco ("I Was Made For Loving You"), platform boots and everything associated with the 70's was passe' and out of style and was largely mocked by society. And this included KISS. In 1980, "Unmasked" had flopped. And in 1981, "The Elder" flopped EVEN WORSE. The band had tried a new "radio-friendly" sound and look, sporting short new-wave haircuts. Fans were simply no longer interested in this group. Even Paul Stanley has admitted to and documented this. The group badly needed a shot in the arm.....and VINNIE VINCENT GAVE THEM JUST THAT !!!!!!!! Vinnie was the new blood they needed to get respected again and also get back into the good graces of fans. Not only is his guitar playing phenomenal, Vinnie's songs are kick-ass with the energy to not only win back Kiss's declining fan base, but also awesome enough to ATTRACT NEW AND YOUNGER FANS !!!!! (Which included me.) But don't simply take my word for it. Just hear from everyday fans. Most are in agreement that "Creatures of the Night" (1982), from which Vinnie wrote the better received songs on that album (and did the tour for), "Lick it Up" (1983, despite us having to see Paul and Gene's ugly, stupid, boring faces) and "Revenge" (1992) are the band's heaviest and best. It is no coincidence that these are the three albums Vinnie is on in some form or another. And this is all the evidence one needs to acknowledge Vinnie's remarkable contributions to the band. And Vinnie's work and contributions still endure. A fact Vinnie himself stresses today. AND RIGHTFULLY SO !!!!!!!! One can skip passed all of the albums in between. As that is all pure Bubble-Gum Junk Pop. But yet again, don't take my word for it. Simply talk with any of their average fans and they will agree. And if anyone here STILL isn't convinced, then just ask yourself one question: Why did Gene and Paul insist on using the old make-up gimmickery again? Answer: Because unlike Vinnie Vincent, they both got lazy, ran out of ideas and decided to finally dig their greedy hands into the piles of cash they were sitting on, that they gladly took from hardworking guys and gals, like you all reading this, which they had hoarded and put into their AND their entourage and accountants' bank accounts.🤔
