"Cylinder" sounds so much more sophisticated and proper than what we call them here in the U.S. We used to call them "Tank Types." ARGH!!! It sounds like they should have a machine gun attached!

Thank you! I still use a 1970s heater and it is very economical and reliable! I also have a 1940s Dutch twin tub. It is seldom used but does the job of washing rather well.

I grew up with a very orange 331 with black tubing. It had a reusable bag and no suction control knob. Great to see this deluxe model in an amazing condition. I’m assuming ours died and it was lost to history. Thanks!

Lovely vacuum and video, definitely thumb up for this! I actually have a modern version of that automatic nozzle in my Lux Royal D790. Altougt nozzle has possibility to lock the brushes in up or low position. It's like 90's version of that Electrolux Automatic 330. Just a much more suction, automatic (electronic) suction control and powerhead. Motor sounds extremely smooth and build quality is fantastic. I will newer sell it, that's for sure.

I have exactly the same model. Well, it was owned by my late parents in 1975. It is still working fine. My ONLY problem, is to try and get a replacement hose because the original hose (braided type) is totally damaged due to age.

Lovely old vac......same vintage as me! My mum had a later 345, bearings went in the motor early 90s and it didn't sound healthy........BUT..........the old girl kept going for many years after that on car valeting duties, finally finishing up in the WEEE bin in the mid 2000s !

Wow ! way ahead of its time and looks well made and sounds great mechanically, not like the many awful China / Malaysia made things now that make an awful noise when in use and made of horrible cheap creaky brittle plastic

OMG i cant understand why i did not remember that i have used a Z330. my great grandmother bought one second hand 4 year before i was born in 2000 and that model was the first ever vintage vacuum cleaner i used. i remember i was 3 year old the first time i used it and i played with the automatic function and got very scared when the over fulled bag popped out at me hahaha. I wonder what ever happen to it. it probably got thrown out when my great grandmother went to a care home in 2008.

I don't know the currency, but you are going to have to find the bags that fit that vacuum and it also requires maintenance to work properly, like replacing the filter every so often. I would advice for a modern vacuum with no bags.

Considering it has that kind of hose, it might have tiny holes thru it from age which causes loss of suction. I bought a late 90s model at a yard sale with that material for a hose and I lost at least half my suction with it

I may have mentioned that it had some loss of suction, but that was due to the bag being very full.

+ibaisaic Yea, I went back listened again and it made sense the second time. For its age, it's still excellent. You can hear the suction when you change from carpet to your tile floor. Love watching your videos
