I’m so sorry for the loss of both of ur loved ones. 🙏🏻 I have navy blue version of Cambridge Bible (like urs, but on my cover it says Holy Bible) I received for my birthday in 1977. It was my first fine Bible. Its still my favorite Bible. Thanks for sharing urs. What a treasure u found.

Thank you so much. It was a pretty awful year. Lovely to hear about your Bible, and to that you still have it. I think this one might be from 1976 after watching some other videos and looking at a code on the last page of Revelation. Most seem to have a concordance, but this one doesn't. Yes I think it is a little treasure.

I’m so sorry for your loss of your loved one’s. I use leather furniture polish. Spray a little on a soft cloth and wipe it off. Very pretty Bible, really like the color. Nice print. Cambridge is suppose to be one of best. I will keep you in thoughts and prayers. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much, that is so kind of you. My son said he had some special leather treatment, so might try that. I do have a leather furniture polish spray but do you think I can find it? Of course not. It is a really lovely bible. Your prayers are appreciated.

Wow. A great and worthy find ... Cambridge Bibles are in general always very good Bibles. I have such a compact Cambridge Cameo Bible ... but its cover is only in bonded leather and not as durable and supple as the Calf-skin leather. After more than two decades, it is still good though. My present reading and study Bible is a more modern and readable English Translation ... the Recovery Version Bible. You can purchase it in two formats - with the Bible text only or with both the accurately translated text and plenty of excellent footnotes that are simply amazing.

It certainly was a good find, and is a lovely Bible. I've not heard of the Bible you mention. I will have to look it up.

No it is not, it says "My spirit shall not always...."

@@biblepilgriminspirepraisew8044 thank you for the reply. I believe this verse prophesi’ the separation from God that occurred at the Tower of Babel, I think It should be capitalized. I have a 1933 KJB from American Bible society that has the correct capitalization. My 1901 J.W.B kjb has the incorrect capitalization aswell. I think it’s strange how some publishers do and some don’t (1611 has sprite capitalized)

@ I’ve just looked at some other Bibles, the NKJV, the 1977 NASB, ESV, CSB, NLT and a NIV from 1992 and they all have Spirit capitalised, so I’m guessing all the newer versions do, but the KJV and RSV don’t.

@@biblepilgriminspirepraisew8044 thank you so much for checking.in my opinion, It's an attack on the purity of the word. In the context it is clear that it should be capitalized. I have a small collection of kjv bibles and few of them have the correct capitalization(all older than 1970). Most newer translations I own have the incorrect capitalization, youve demonstrated that that’s an exception not a rule. At the very least it could be a typist error that has been carried over by differ publishers. Your channel has been an inspiration to me. Appreciate your zealousness
