She's good for another couple of generations now. Fabulous work, attention to detail and love that you used the old hardware!

OK, I really appreciate the fact that you sanded everything, inside and out. It drives me crazy when I see furniture flips when they just do what is seen. Also, that wood grain is gorgeous! Not to mention the hardware. Loved it!

I agree. My old dinosaur always says "If a job is to be done make sure you do the full job, half a job is a waste of time." I like the fact he always seems to go just that little further to make what he does perfect. Even places that will likely never be seen, get TLC. Loved how the wood grain came to life with the stain, the colour is just right for it.

This is what we need to be buying and taking care of - classy furniture that was made to last. Not trendy junk that ends up in landfill when fashions change. I subscribed after watching the first video I came across, hooked on the skill and attention to detail. I'd be proud to own any item renovated by this man, and would be willing to pay a good price for it.

Your skills are AMAZING !!! I really enjoy watching you painstakingly restore each piece you do. I'm impressed that you wax the whole piece. As you see it, it has to be done right. In a restoration, you want the whole piece restored. Waxing the inside gives the wood fresh protection and color. You are a master at this !

I've watched some of the tool and metal items restoration channels that use sandblasting. Seeing how difficult the sanding and stripping can be on furniture I wondered if sandblasting was an option. Now I know. Great job.
@Flippingdrawers2 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Definitely can be used. You might use walnut shells or glass beads or soda, depending on how delicate you want to be.

GORGEOUS!! I can’t wait to try sand blasting (I’m actually doing soda blasting but same concept) on this piece I have with lots of detail. Love how easy spraying the stain was! I watched another KZbin channel where the guy sprays his stain (something I’ve never seen before), but he doesn’t show the kind of stain he uses. He’s also in the UK and the cans/containers of products he uses I’ve never seen before. Good to know you used water based stain because it’s something I definitely want to try. Thx for the video and Happy New Year!!🎆

How'd that soda blaster go? I'm looking into it myself for some intricate cabinet doors. How aggressive is it? Do you still get a fine finish or would I need to sand with a 180-220 after or something. Going with some stain and customers will want it perfect
@Flippingdrawers2 жыл бұрын
Hi, you can use diffrent blasting media like glass beads, walnut shells or sand, they are more or less agressive . Works great for me but it is messy. It is good enough to apply finish on it, just need to clean off the dust.
