The work your are doing is amazing only possibly equaled by the sound of the motor! Fantastic! You just inspired me to get back out in the garage and continue with my old Porsche…just a 914, but it’s mine and I have touched and twisted every bolt and nut on the car! Thanks for an amazing video. Subscribed of course!

You're quickly becoming one of my favorite content creators. As an R&D fab guy too, I appreciate your artist first approach, greatly. I still can't believe those are stock lines on that car. There was a render going around of a Cobra style car with a hardtop blended in with extra curvy lines at the rear quarters. Makes me wonder if that designer didn't start with one of these as a base for his model. All I know is I've got to find one now.

Well I have a brand new 3d scanner, that I don’t know how to use, but we can scan it when it’s done if you like! Thank you for watching!
@rkstewart95852 ай бұрын
@@4VintageSuperCars appreciate the offer, a quick search last night for one confirmed my suspicions the procuring a body might be an exercise in patience. I do a ton of general aviation stuff, think retrofits in instruments from the old analog steam gauges to the new glass panels with synthetic vision vibe. One thing I have to get or fab is one of the CNC tables that's basically a 5x10 router with .005 resolution for carving out molds and bucks. Take a scan like yours, process is through the software and it generates the g code itself and you have a ton of work out of the way for a buck to pull a mold from. Pretty keen stuff, man.
@4VintageSuperCars11 күн бұрын
Well, let me know when you get in the market for some sort of body because I always run across something
@rkstewart958511 күн бұрын
@@4VintageSuperCars Thank you so much. I've messed with frp due to having Vettes and boats the last 20 some odd years. I'm hoping to 3d scan a few different ones, 2 of which you have, because we're on the cusp of being able to 3d print molds and bucks with high resolution that need minimal finish work. I'm an old school cat myself, but integrating a little tech won't hurt my feelings! Thanks again for your time, sir.
