I love how you find so many unique pieces! I just love your style. I think if we lived by each other, we would always be getting into trouble. 😂 I absolutely love thrifting. I don't always look for planters in the normal sense. I look for unique things for planters. Lol I love that basket planter!! What a steal! I love baskets for everything. Haha you literally just said that as in typing it. I absolutely love milk glass, but I never find any, and I don't know what I would do with it if I did. Lol but it's so pretty.

I love baskets for everything to 🥰. I don’t find milk glass often either but I thought about trying to get enough of it to fill a shelf up and have a “milk glass” shelf 🥰

Ooo I love the pears! Jackpot on those planters! I have found a bunch of really great planters at Goodwill this year. Oh wow! That book holder is gorgeous! What an incredible find! Oh that picture frame is beautiful 😍 both of them are!

Hello sweet friend! I'm pretty sure those first pieces are tarnished plated silver. They are A creamer & sugar set but the sugar piece is missing the lid. I have quite a few plated pieces in my silver collection. The only thing I notice different between silver & played silver is the tarnish on silver has a little rainbow like effect on top of the dark tarnish, where the plated pieces are just a matte, dark black/gray..hope that makes sense!😄 They're either of vintage or antiques, google Lens them! The second piece with the bible verse is pewter, you can see the difference! The amber glass is really pretty! The pear piece is cute! You can also use A small battery candle or battery tea light! You can get the battery tea lights in A pack of 2 or 4 at the dollar tree or dollar general. Usually If the piece, like the tin, has a label with no bar code to scan, its vintage! Just A little tip😉 Always look for planters! I've found some beautiful one's! Lots of brass ones & adding some really pretty pretty & large chamoiserie pots. I love Terra cotta pots! But I've collected a ton of brass planters for inside & out! You should get you a "pothos" vine! They're beautiful, grow pretty quickly & very easy to care for! I have a couple of the wicker planters with the plastic inside, i put pin holes in the bottom for drainage. The white vase is milk glass, definitely be pretty with a faux plant! Another you should google Lens! The wire basket with the tea light holders is an interesting piece.. you'll def need to google Lens that piece! I love the open book holder! I want to find one to use for a large family bible! Great find! My DIL gas a black swan like that one but the inside is rippled like feathered wings. Its pretty with wash clothes rolled & stacked in it! The wicker duck would be great for holding paper clips, push pins, rubber bands, etc. in the office! Love the wood tray & riser.. you know my love for wood!😁 Love the chunky frame! I think i'd trade out the picture too. The plate with brown on it Is transferware. You'll need to google Lens it too find out the age. Some are vintage, some are rare, collectables, & some pieces can be worth a bit. That's with most transferware pieces, you never know!🤷‍♀️ That's pretty, & I think its a souviner plate & the edging is the gold plating of course. Great haul & great prices! I hope you ck those pieces & find out more about them! You'll be glad you did!😊 I'm planning to get hutch when we get moved so I can start collecting pretty old dishes! I have book cases, shelves, a small curio, sofa table & my large electric fireplace that has a second shelf & cabinets on the ends & my fav piece to decorate, my 1850-1870's stepback cupboard to decorate with. Hello there! I did some research and they are plated silver from the victorian era! I know that we both love victorian pieces so much so I knew you would probably like them as well:). I am so excited to have them! So that's what pewter looks like! I'll have to remember that for when I am out shopping. I thought the pear piece was adorable to! I'll definitely look for a Pothos vine, I love house plants and how they clean our air for us, I just have to keep on top of keeping them watered lol. The transferware piece I will definitely Google lens for sure, I am very curious about it. I can just imagine how pretty your things will look when you are done decorating! Have ya'll found you a house yet? I am still praying for you one! My Granny has been praying for one for a bit and she finally found one recently! God loves us and will definitely provide our needs! @@dearmikaila Walmart usually always has Pothos plants, in different sizes. I usually get the $5-$7 ones, the grow pretty quick. I just put mine in a big planter & let it grow! No we haven't found one, but I'm thinking its probably going to be after Christmas. We've got some things that we hope are going to work out for us around that time! Its A blessing thats for sure! His boss may have one for rent around then too so hopefully is all going to work out. If not there's A lady at our church that helps people that are new to the area, or looking for a home.. she's really good at it! So I'm hoping by mid-late January🙏🏻 Unless God opens doors before! Yeah alot of people get pewter & silver confused! But I was pretty sure that was silver plated, it looks like my silver plated pieces. Like I said silver will have that rainbow like sheen to the tarnish. You'll notice it when you see it. And pewter don't tarnish like silver or silver plated pieces. Its almost like a nickel, it just gets dull looking... hope a that helps! I'm pretty sure that brown transferware piece is a souviner piece but even they can be with something sometimes. That's why I said google Lens it & make sure! But yeah keep praying for us, we need it for sure!😊

I can't tell the material on your first item, but my guess is tarnished silverplate and it is a creamer and sugar bowl, but I think the lid is missing on the sugar bowl. When I looked online, it said that Lexington Co did quadruple silver plate and the number is relevant also, just not sure how. Maybe that's what it says next to the word plate, quadruple? From what I could determine from my mini search, that is the normal original patina, so don't strip or polish it. (although I don't think you would) I would say your tin is vintage - a clue is no upc code on the label. I like both the wood pieces especially the little riser - so cute. Also, like both of the frames that you got. The Vancouver plate is a souvenir plate. My grandmother traveled a lot, in the states, but also overseas to several different countries and I think she had a plate for every state and several for different countries she visited. She also collected the little souvenir spoons. I know that dishes with the brown print are called transferware. It is also done in reds. pinks, purple, black, green, yellow and multicolored. There may even be more, I don't know. I am only familiar with red, brown and green. You did find some nice deals again. The book holder will look great with the bible you found. Lucky find.

I was wondering myself if it might be tarnished silver or pewter, either way it is beautiful! You are right to, I will not be taking the patina away! I love how old it looks. I believe it did say quadruple! I will have to look that piece up again, thank you for the info!
