The tunnel keep it as is now bring it down at a 45° angle? Why not go a Tikki theme on the interior! It's looking real good. I like the idea of tapering the rear down into the floor. What do you think of narrowing the flat section as it tapers down to the floor (the rolled section would turn into a larger dia at the base). Or that can't be done too.

Just a thought but if you mimic the first piece of the doghouse for the front piece you can integrate some cupholders for when you’re driving 🤷🏼‍♂️
