to put stuff in labels you have to click on it with an empty hand. it'll open an interface that lets you put three items in it.

step 1: get lots of good tools step 2: set up a large area of grass so that you will get pigs, cows, sheep and chickens step 3: automate step 4: fix the mob spawner step 5: complete the tree farm step 6: get lapis and iron and invar and so on and so forth with the metals step 7: use the metals you have gotten for many purpouses and find some islands if there are any step 8: enlarge the farm with all the minico things and possibly a snow golem for snow step 9: farm all the things you have built step 10: build a proper home around the chest step 11: get gold and diamond step 12: build an area full of sieves and barells and smeltery and enchanting type things step 13: make the place look nice step 14: make a string farm and put the passive mobs in pens and farm them step 15: create a platform built for those chance die step 16: break that obsidian and go to the nether and see if anything is there i am bored of making steps can someone carry on for me

That's cool! Out of curiosity, infinite durability for right click (set fire like a special flint-and-steel) or left click (sets mobs on fire because of Fire Aspect, and infinite because fire has no durability)?

VintageBeef there is a RF generator in Extra utilities mod called TNT Generator in this one you can use the tnt to produce lots of power ( for your sieves and other stuff )

beef get a 3x3x3 of the chance cubes. it turns into this animal dome that will be super useful for you guys, just put it far enough away from the island. if you right click on a label the GUI appears for it.

The barrels hold stacks of a single item, and at best the drawers hold four different items. Vanilla chests are the most effective for what Beef is doing: storing many different items.

I know these guys have over a dozen years combined MC experience so how can they be such newbs to so many things in these mods? The ignorance of so many basic things make it frustrating to watch at times that I am starting to find more pleasure in their fails than their successes lol - like blowing up the base with Chance Icosahedrons or Creeper sneak attacks. Those are the best moments so far. I can't wait until they get a Ghast from one of the Chance Ico's like I did, and it burns their base to cinders because they are too lazy / dumb to convert it to cobble by now instead of ALL FREAKING WOOD lol! :-D

For example Beef Says "What can you do with gunpowder?" REALLY??? Hover the mouse over the gunpowder and type shift+R to show the recipes for everything you can make with gunpowder. Basic NEI 101 noobs!

you do have a point. On one hand i'm really tired of those LPs of tech packs where it's like by episode 20 they have automated everything and they're only playing to get achievements but on the other hand the progress of this series is so slow. I think they need to do a lot more research between episodes so that their episodes aren't just filled with laborious early game tasks like sieving gravel all day with talking in the background with etho the only one making the tech advancements. I'm not expecting nor really wanting to see fully automated everything in this series or anything, just progress in any way. I recently started playing this pack and managed to get all the different types of trees really quickly from my mob farm. If they can get to that point maybe they can at least build cool looking stuff along with the chisel mod+builder's wands even if this isn't a building-focused pack, and if they did more research then maybe they could come up with interesting projects involving tools and machines from the modpacks (for and other than for pure financial gain - like what etho and doc are doing in the hermitcraft server with all the minigames). Even still though, their commentary and shenanigans is enough to keep me interested :)
