Sempiternal is by far their best album, it is the perfect mix of heaviness to me, it's hard hitting and powerful but not too heavy where it is just annoying and generic and constant screams that you can't understand like some of their other albums but not like That's The Spirit where it's not hard hitting or powerful at all

Just started my collection, and my first was From Under The Cork Tree by Fob in Maroon and Gold, it's gorgeous. The next two that I just ordered are Paramore's self titled album and a limited addition white pressing of Catfish and The Bottlemen's The Ride

I have about 60 albums in my collection, but listed below are my most recent acquisitions: 1. Kvelertak - "Nattesferd" 2. Kvelertak - "Meir" 3. Kvelertak - "Kvelertak" Kvelertak is a 6-piece Norwegian metal band who play an incredibly addictive blend of Rock n' Roll, Hardcore and Classic Metal with some Black Metal sprinkled in. They sing and scream wholly in Norwegian, so I can't understand what they're saying, but the music is what counts. Their sound is really upbeat, catchy, melodic, groovy and great for parties!

I'm still jealous you got Cork Tree. It got me into FOB as well. It's such a fantastic record. So many great songs. FOB at their best. And it looks beautiful on that Maroon Vinyl. 😍 I actually got a copy of Green Day's "Warning" on orange vinyl as well after I saw your Twitter convo with Alex D. Also picked up Death Cab for Cutie's "Trasatlanticism", "Rose" by The Front Bottoms, "Sometimes I Sit and Think..." by Courtney Barnett, and "Alix" by The Generationals.

I managed to get a "MMHMM" original press on ebay for only $25. I was so surprised when I found I won the bid for so low. The next one sold for over $100. My favorite I have ever picked up was "Forget and Not Slow Down" original press though. Paid a pretty penny for it, but I loved getting it :)

I recently picked up maggot brain by funkadelic and well that's awesome and been getting into some afro beat and afro funk of the 70s. Great stuff that came out of a time when most of those countries were separating from the remnants of the british empire and the portugese empire. Kind of rare releases but so good. I also preordered the re issue of hot fuss on vinyl that comes out at the end of this month.

Did Fall Out Boy re-release those albums on vinyl? It's crazy that you'd find those in the record store! I've been wanting the old records so bad! Also, Nothing But Thieves was definitely one of the best releases of 2015! I got the record shipped from the UK before the album was released in the US. Sadly, I think mine is just plain black :/

Sublime's kinda hologrammy cover is rather pleasent to the eye, nice catches. Nothing really special as I don't live somewhere were you can find many vinyls, buy I've recently picked up new copies of Blackstar by David Bowie (at a not overpriced rate) and Master of Reality by Black Sabbath with the title relief, and used old copies of Remain in Light by The Talking Heads and Yes' Close to the Edge at a local trade fair .

make sure your records are clean from dust as that's what gives records their pop and crackly noises. records scratch easily so try to keep them in a nice sleeve because once records scratch they skip and it's pretty much ruined. I'm fairly new to records so I don't know much.

Don't buy a Crosley player. They might be cheap but they warped or scratch records so easily. Audio-Technica AC-LP60 (i that's what it's called) is really good, and i've got a ion max lp player :)

+Haley Gabriel Probably around 6-8 months. Really it depends on how well you take care of it and if you let gunk build up on it and scrape it off with your fingers. But if you ever want to clean your needle be super careful because you can just as easily break it.

Because it's a VERY VERY rare record. I'm not huge into FOB myself, so I don't know the exact number, but I think they only ever made around 200 copies, a few of which probably broke somewhere along the way after the were pressed and originally purchased. Typically it's the sort of record that only die hard fans are able to get their hands on. 😂😂
