Miles Davis friday night at the blackshaw for a quid nice! No REALLY nice!! (Jazz bloke off the fast show!) most charity shops get some old persons record collection dropped off from time to time, and your right it’s usually Roger Whittaker (not Waters!) that you find on the cheap, but they sometimes bought the odd jazz album or two, and I once found an Art Blakey Jazz Messengers compilation in one! Which was nice!!!!

The sleeve for Joy Division Unknown Pleasures that you have must not have been printed by Garrod And Lofthouse? As from the mid 70’s till about 82/83 they were famous for doing those rounded cornered inner sleeves for EMI! And whoever else had contracts with them for their sleeves to be made! Tony Wilson went with them a lot for his artists, especially Joy Division and The Durutti Column of whom I absolutely love to bits!!!!

The inners were a mixture of round corners and square... mine is a first pressing WEA with square corners
