I took January off, kinda.. I ended up watching a lot of VinylTAG videos. Here is my 2024 vinyl tag, better late than never.

There are over 20 vinyl tags, I have never seen it get this crazy. Fun to get an album you fought for! Cure love doing picture discs. I just bought a Tycho album, is that the artist you were talking about. I found it on clearance so I grabbed t not knowing what it is, something I do way too much. Enjoyed your tag Monica.

A belated but novel response to the vinyl tag. Love that Curtis Mayfield soundtrack. I was listening to it just the other day and particularly liked the instrumental with oboe in t. He was quite unlike any other soul artist. Nonpareil, I believe is the term. A quite unfortuitous mention of Melanie at your dinner party. Q: who would be your fourth guest?

It was cool to discover that Ghostly Kisses is actually french-Canadian singer-songwriter Margaux Sauvé. I was unaware of this artist that is local to me. It does occasionally happen while watching videos from the VC that I'm exposed to artists that are from here that I haven't heard. As I always say: "you can't hear/know all of the music know matter how hard you try!" Cheers.

Splendid vinyl tag. Rob’s the best isn’t he? Not that late, I felt my vinyl tag was late as well, but I had a good excuse, I had to get home to my record collection! 😆 Smiths, «get it one my turntable!» Ha ha, loved that. Butch Vig, who produced Nirvana's "Nevermind", belongs to a band whose Self-Titled album I wish I never bought because it's GARBAGE. JUST KIDDING! This masterpiece is my absolute favourite album from the 90s and though I've been into it for a long time, it became special in light of something that happened in 2022. I lost my father to lung cancer, but I put this album on one day in the Summer in order to cheer myself up and I KID YOU NOT, THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED AS SOON AS THE THIRD SONG, "I'M ONLY HAPPY WHEN IT RAINS", STARTED: A SUN SHOWER OCCURRED OUTSIDE! The world telling me things were going to be okay.

have you seen Jeffs vinyl tag of Kiss? never heard of Tyco , nice Smiths , nice Wings - spped of sound, nice Wood stock , beautiful album of Simon and Garfunkel , Beatles , nice Super fly and grammy legend Stevie Wonder, nice Bob Dylan, nice Bad company, I can answer number 4 so on Cd that's easiest for me what decade would I want to listen to only as good as the 60's were it was basicly the late 60's so the early 60's aren't as classic under any other category it would be the 70's tv shows , movies , sports cards but for music it would the 80's I know the 70's are very classic but the 80's are to. so you who were born in the 80's did I hear you say the 2000's? 6. if you mean an artist that released an album in 2023 the answer should be no surprise to you 0 as my newest album is 1992 Alice in Chains - Dirt if you mean any album any year that we listened to in 2023 I will say either Kiss or Judas Priest. 7 skipped 8. Jimi Hendrix , Randy Rhoads, Stevie Ray Vaugh , Steve Clarke , Geddy Lee, Sting, Neil Peart, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne 9 skipped 10. England La does have great musicians Van Halen , Motley crue 11. No solution, Mega Jeff hard rocks 12. most if not all my music was on a mixed tapes when I was a teen I had 1 album when I was 13 it was Kiss Dynasty . 13. I have a Ray Charles album does that count? 14. to many to list but I will give you 10 1. Kiss - Destroyer 2. Iron Maiden - Piece of mind 3. Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengence 4. Black Sabbath- Debut 5. Black Sabbath - Paranoid 6. Def Leppard - Pyromania 7. Dio - Holy Diver 8. Ac/dc- Back in Black 9. Van Halen-1 10. Rush - Moving pictures 14. B i don't think that applies to me 16 my favorites to watch were contest ones show multiplication of 3's 3 is a magic number back in October , Denni's analouge arch show sophmore albums which are as good or better than the debut and the 11 question contest by Storm winds. and Roberts whats on my turn table 4 albums by 4 different bands and show the 4th album 17. both Alice in Chains - Face lift and Dirt 18. an album with Ac/dc so I will go with their 1979 Highway to hell to be on the same cover with Angus Young would be so cool. 19. ZZ Top greatest hits, Queen Greatest hits 20. Kiss - self titled and Hotter than hell questions 1. why the 2000's why not say the 90's? 2.. I have some queen, you’re gonna be surprised but I never heard one song of kiss 🫣 I was born in the 80s, the 90s kinda passed me by when it came to music since I was a kid. I would make mix tapes from the radio stations which was so hard to find anything I liked, I did discover the cranberries during that time. I did make a ton of cd mixes 😎

When the vinyl tag started it wasn’t something done at the beginning of the year. Pick a country is between England and the US. I’ve seen people pick Canada, France and Germany. Get real. Los Angeles alone has more music than those countries.

As one of those that choose Canada, and yes arguably with my heart, are you discounting it because we have less, or are you discounting it on its content? as there are many, many talented artists from here, there just aren't as many of us. I think the question would have been a bit more intriguing if the UK (yes I know not a country) and the USA were not on the table.

In my vinyl tag I suggested the question would have been better if the person’s home country was eliminated. You took it up a notch.
