Combine freezing with Overdrive Drug which allows you to crit outside vats and you can freeze whole rooms, Plasma infused can get you quite a bit of nuclear material for crafting or even selling as it is worth quite a bit.

It's not great for long range weapons but for close quarters, the Violent effect is nasty. The recoil becomes unbearable without a muzzle brake on combat rifles. And I need supressors for my build.

instigating effect is amazing with any sneak or melee character (and preferably no companion, so they don't hit enemies early) snipers, combat knife, super sledge, ect. it usually gives the potential to one shot even then enemies that have insanely high levels that they seem to have copied from you.

Never ending double barrel shotgun is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Also my sneaky sniper build can do 1980 damage with the Instigating Disciples blade before damage resistance. I also dont have any perks in the melee damage perk and I can one hit a behemoth on hard difficulty.

Jamie Hughes plasma infused is even more OP with a Lorenzo Gamma Gun. Only if you have all of the relevant perks maxed though. It's almost too OP. It covers all bases: Ballistic, (Lorenzo telekinesis counts as ballistic AOE like explosive legendaries) Energy, (plasma infused- I believe it's 50-60 extra energy dmg with maxed perks) and Radiation (gamma gun base stats+ nuclear physicist maxed out) It'll kill anything in 3 shots or less. Except Liberty Prime of course. Only a Never-ending Laser Musket cranked like 100 times can 1 shot Liberty Prime lol

- Try DEFIANT effect on Harpoon Gun. It will automatically double its damage all time. Add 2nd level Fast Reloading Perk will make it deadly. - Try WOUNDING effect of Flame thrower. It is especially effective for enemies who use hit-and-run tactic by burrowing under ground like Bloodworms, Mole rats, and even Rad-Scorpions. - Try EXPLOSIVE effect on .38 automatic pistol and shoot it on the ground under a bunch of charging robots. It will easily cause crippling effect on one of the robot before killing it. A crippled robot will initiate self-destruct before it is killed. When it explode, it will either kill or cripple its nearby robots, which will cause another chained effect to the other nearby robots.

I think you guys are underestimating the Irradiated effect. It’s buffed by the Nuclear Physicist perk, so that 50 radiation damage becomes 100 once Nuclear Physicist is maxed out. So imagine having a Power Armor wearing character with a Gatling Laser or Minigun with the Irradiated effect.

You should do top 10 armor *mods*, including Power Armor, The Medic Pump Upgrade would be #1 because if you have the Medic perk fully ranked, which allows Stimpacks and RadAway to heal all damage (Physical or radiation) double speed in survival and near instantaneously on any other difficulty, and combining that with the Medic Pump upgrade for power armor and a really large stimpack collection (With fully ranked Medic perk, you're going to be gaining a lot more stimpacks than you are using them, since you're being healed ALL HP/Rads at either instantly or double speed) and if you get too many (I think they're weighted in Survival) you can sell them and given you have 10 base charisma, the Cap Collector perk, the Charisma bobblehead, the Tales of the Junktown Jerky Vendor magazines, the Sharp armor set when you exit the power armor, charisma increasing chems (I think alchohol inceases charisma but decreases intelligence, and the X-cell which increases all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats by 2 but is HIGHLY addictive, and a few of the other extremely rare, loot only drugs.) you can get an amazing amount of caps, just because you took a perk and are using power armor mods to keep from overusing a stimpack. Now, since it activates below 25% health, it may not be too viable in Survival, but in Very easy, Easy, Normal, Hard and Very Hard, it can really make you a true "cap Collector".

+Alex Lucas I made it with a mod called legendary modification. Otherwise you can just use console commands on PC. Unfortunately, there's no designated drop for legendary weapons only uniques in fallout 4.
