Just finished reading this novel. I absolutely love it! Was recommending it to my co-workers. As a fellow mixed race individual who knows the pain of diaspora, I felt for Winnie throughout the book. I don't want to give away spoilers in case anyone sees this, there were many scenes that I was taken aback by. I mean that in a good way. Thank you Violet for this wonderful read.
