I have no doubt. Currently I'm spending my time learning to play the darned things. I figured after 25 years of guitar it would be cinch. Boy was I wrong! How much did you spend (USD$) on tools to get started? That's what seems daunting to me. I could probably buy one of your violins for the money it would cost me to make one myself. I basically have no woodworking tools.

I also would love to learn but I'm going to be bringing life back into one my great grand dad made and I plan on buying some of the tools as I go and I have a budget each check in going to put to the tools haha should be great though! Oh and books LOTS of books!
