VF needs a story mode. I have no idea what is going on in this game. VF4 Evolution had the greatest tutorial mode ever. It literally told you how to play the game, every step of the way. VF5 Final Showdown was a joke. I hope they have some answers in VF6.

Honestly I don't care for characters in fighting games, I just care about their looks, move set and immediate attitude..but I do understand why a story mode is needed or actually an engaging single player experience something like world tour in SF6, not directly one to one but in terms of attention.

Great video, definitely excited for this game. I’ve been playing VF5 on my Xbox Series X on my PC CRT monitor, and it looks about as good as it possibly could. While Tekken is the current heavy hitter, I much prefer DOA and I feel it’s very under appreciated. I’ve been a VF fan since 95, and I think DOA plays even better. They say DOA6 killed the series, but I feel like it’s the best semi-current 3D fighter out there. It’s honestly amazing.

We question of this game will have quest if VF6 will have meter and so fourth but I truely wonder if this will have the wonderful english dialogue from japan! Come on sega we need it!

VF6 is a ways off i feel. They just announced another updated version of 5 called VF5 REVO which will be coming to Steam/PC with all new balance, rollback netcode and from whats been going around returning moves. They said winter so i dont think an official VF6 reveal is coming at TGA due to competing with this news, but then again maybe we get a cinematic trailer with a window release of 2026. Who knows. In either case im excited for VF5REVO.

I can sense there is alot of hope and excitement going around here with the possibility of this release, but given Sega's more recent track record, I would seriously recommend lowering your expectations on this one. This is NOT the same Sega, hasn't been for a LONG time. That Sega died with the Dreamcast in 2002, all the departments, creative artists etc as far as I'm aware, are not there anymore. Yu Suzuki was exiled, reigned back in for Shenmue 3 and the game ended up being a MASSIVE disappointment as far as I'm concerned, so I am not confident at all that another Virtua Fighter will set any sort of bar. If anything, Sega will play it safe and morph it into some sort of weird VF/Tekken hybrid, which is exactly what you don't want. Virtua Fighter 5 was good, but that game is like 18 years old or something now, it's old enough to be considered retro. Sega have neglected their IPs for too long, they are now playing catch up, when they were always the innovators, it's absolutely crazy.

Virtua fighter was designed to be played for ever with new entries only ever being made when there was a mechanical reason for the team, the reason we just had VF5 for so long was cause AM2 and VF players see it as perfect.. unlike other games that will fill their games with shit mechanics no one wants just to justify a sequel

Will Yu Suzuki be working on it in any capacity, even as a consultant. If he isn't I don't care. I want to make sure they come correct. VF is greater than Tekken in my opinion. edit: VF characters better not look as trash as Tekken and that weird fake looking skin. I remember how Akira looked in VF4 with the tanned look, it looked legit amazing and better than anything on Tekken 4 and easily Tekken 5.

Yu Suzuki is washed anyway.What he did with Shenmue 3 is such a shame....it's ok for him to not be involved anymore.VF future will be fine
