Thanks for this video ! I was desperately looking for a straight forward answer for about a week and finally came across your video. Im actually in the process now of backtracking because I registered my business as a LLC using my home address & I decided I want to purchase a virtual address instead. I’m now in the process of looking into changing the address of the things I already set in place before moving forward to avoid any issues in the future. I am wondering would you know if I would have to get a complete new EIN# with the change or no ? Great video btw !

Thanks for the great video. Does the virtual address company allow me to create an account with them on my yet to be registered LLC name instead of personal name? I see they ask for two IDs on my name, so the mails receiving on my name will only be accepted at the virtual address right, not the LLC company?

I have a few questions about the virtual address. 1. Are you no longer able to use your home address as a tax write off? 2. What if you no longer want to utilize the specific virtual address company? Do you need to go back and change it for the LLC documentation? 3. There is so much controversy as it relates to building business credit with a virtual address, do you have any knowledge in the area? I hope you can help, thank you!

Hey Niavanni, I still use my home office as a tax write off, though I recommend you speak with your tax person to be sure. And you would only need to submit changes if you used them as a registered agent. Yes I have experience with building business credit. You can use these types of addresses as long as they aren't mail center type of locations. What I mean by that is places like postnet and staples etc. Hope that helps

I opened my llc about a year ago and used how address throughout setting up with Amazon e-commerce business but have not got anything to sale because got off track taking of sick family member. Now I’m back on track and now I would like to change my home address for business to a virtual address. Is it possible without complications? How can I do this?

Address first. Then speak to an accountant before forming your legal structure. LLC is not good for everyone or every business. I am an accountant and have had to assist so many clients get out of LLC and restructure. Please get a consult with an accountant and or attorney first.

when setting up a virtual address, you must notarize, when notarizing, it makes you select personal or business, do you select personal or business? when creating the llc, can you use the virtual address even if you haven't notarized yet?

This right here was what I was looking for…perfection sir. Can you recommend what would be a realistic amount of documents per year for a small sole prop? Virtual address sites give an option of 3 documents vs 25+ documents per year..so which one? That’s where I’m stuck now.

I'm wondering if I'm doing the process correctly. Instead of getting my llc right off the bat, I first want to wait for cash flow before getting that through my state. So I'm going to get my fbn/dba, ein, and my resale permit. Before I fill out the fbn form, I want to get my virtual address first right? Then input that information on my fbn, ein and resale permit? Sorry for the confusion brother. I started recommending you do the virtual address first that way you don't need to ever put your personal address on any documentation. If you've already done the LLC just go ahead and get the virtual address and they'll help you update your business address with the govt

@@tomy I had the same confusion, so I started to read the comments and I'm glad I did. But still, I'm in one of the virtual services now, and to start the process, they ask for your name and the company's name so there is still a bit of confusion there. FIrst time here, thank you for your video
