Hi Giampaolo, thank you for watching and your important question. Tom addresses how our food choices affect our vibration in many of his videos, including this one I did with him in the past: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGfVoIiYZr6khNk In summary, moving towards love, means moving away from all animal products, but especially meat, which all involve fear, terror, and violence.

I attended the funeral of a friend last wednesday. He died of a brain tumour at 51. The funeral was an exercise of utter Futility... A humanist service..Atheist. At some point the facilitator told us that we'd be happy to know he (the deceased) was wearing his favourite t.shirt... and I thought..WHAT??? He was in a coffin designed for Cremation..but he was buried in it and it was the kind of coffin that will fill with water and mud and dirt within days! So..What does it matter what he is wearing?? They played Lust for Life by Iggy Pop..whilst everyone sat around in that cold dilapidated Chapel.. phones going off..stark..meaningless..empty...loveless... I've been in a kind of Purgatorial mood ever since... Feeling..I did NOT sign up for this! WHY are so many people so ONE Dimensional?? They seek NO meaning at all but accept the hollow rhetoric given to us on a daily basis and defend this rubbish with vehement argument... To say it like it is is considered an insult... The funeral service was peppered with quotes to the extend that we are essentially dead already.. There is only one life and nothing else... I feel So depressed and can Not get the imagery out of my head... I feel Horror stricken.

Kismet, upon any such experiences it is important to surround ourselves with people and content that will shift our focus, perception and vibration. There is ample of "stuff" in this reality to throw us off track if we are not conscious, and spiral us into a negative vortex. But the good news is that there is also ample of things that can bring joy, beauty, love and meaning into our lives. Don't let the negativity swallow you. We each have a choice in how we deal with any given experience, and it is experiences like this funeral that provide the opportunity for practice, to learn and grow, not get weaker and give up. So most definitely read, watch, listen to and immerse yourself in all that brings your heart, soul and being positive feelings, specifically at this time, so that you can strengthen and re-balance your state of being. Sending you love and strength
@Sainbury
@Sainbury 8 жыл бұрын
People have to grieve in their own way. It helps some people move on. So try not to be too judgemental about how other people deal with death. Most people are very afraid of death and attach a lot of rituals and beliefs to it. A better question to ask yourself is, why does the funeral bother you so much? Maybe their beliefs clash with your beliefs? Empathy for other people will help you get out of your ego and beliefs.

I wish I could have a chat with Tom; I've been on those cross road in the past where choices were to be made, ive chosen the higher entropy ego filled ones and it spiralled me into deep. Crippling depression and pain. I created some bonkers scenarios for myself that took me a long time to get my head around. I always look for ways I can help my community and I'm very lucky in that I have a job I love and it helps people too.

38:27 You say that tom talks about the consequences of marijuana... Did i miss something? Where in the video does he mention this? And then his answer seems to not really include any talk about Marijuana. Or maybe I did not understand his response? I use marijuana as a tool for many different reasons and with what seem to postive results so I am very curious what this was pertaining too.
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, it was pertaining to how any drug overshadows our mind and ability to be fully conscious. The consequences were not meant to be anything like health per se, or similar, but as an escape tool from dealing with the things that need dealing with in our life with full conscious, awareness, without being under the influence, etc. Yes, people use marijuana in many ways, some to deal with physical pain, some with emotional pain, while others yet to just numb out from life, and these may all be well and justified based on the individual's state of consciousness at the time being, desires, priorities, etc. However, the goal in such cases (if one is interested in higher states of empowerment and liberation) is not to be dependent on any such substance by healing at the root level, which allows us to fully deal with and release whatever physical or emotional pain there may be, for example. Much more to this alone that could have been covered, like the intention for use, any addiction present, and so on, but basically the general part to consider was how it impacts and influences our ability to be fully conscious and present participants in this reality.

I have some questions regarding meditation that I choose to post here, since maybe others are wondering the same thing. Personally I have had a meditation routine for some time now, doing mindfulness meditation for at least 30 minutes a day. To get information about mindfulness I have both read books and listened to presentations from Jon Kabat-Zinn and Eckhart Tolle (who doesn't use the term mindfulness, but instead "presence" which is as you know basically the same thing). Both Kabat-Zinn and Tolle talks about going into the senses, like feeling your feet touching the ground as you walk, tasting the taste and feeling the texture of food as you eat, and being with the breath and other sensory perceptions throughout the day as an informal practice. The senses in mindfulness therefore is of core value. However, it seems that Toms description of meditation is very different from mindfulness, since he has described meditation as not collecting sensory data until one reaches "point consciousness". And I have recently started to read a Buddhist author that describes meditation quite similar to Tom; to not collect input from the outside world as a way to meditate. I guess that there are many ways to meditate, as there are many ways to exercise. But my questions are as follows: How could they be so different practically? And since they are so different; are all meditations equally beneficial - For stress, for spiritual purposes, for whatever? Why should one choose a specific kind of meditation? Thank you, Evita, for your work!! Love from Sweden!
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 8 жыл бұрын
Great questions! Thank you so much for sharing this and your feedback :) So yes, you are correct that there are many ways to mediate and no, not all have the same intention or outcome. In "Western" countries (North America/Europe) meditation is kind of grouped into one bucket (more or less). Yes, people understand some basics that there is something like mindfulness meditation, or transcendental, or guided, etc. But these are all very surface/intellectual understandings. Even though like you, I've had mindfulness meditation play a major role on my journey, my favorite approach personally and professionally to help others understand more of the subtle, yet important differences come from yoga. Like meditation, yoga has been grossly misrepresented in the Western world, but if you look into Patanjali's yoga sutras and the 8 Limbs of Yoga, it outlines the 3 "main" meditation states, and how each is needed or valuable for the ultimate experience of oneness. I explain the basics of this and how to practice it on a practical level in my online video course "The 8 Limbs of Yoga" (www.udemy.com/8-limbs-of-yoga/?couponCode=INTRO17DEAL). Naturally, this will not be of interest to the average person, who just wants some basic guided meditation for stress relief, or for those who may want to go a little further into the techniques that resonate with them for slightly deeper benefits. But for those dedicated to the spiritual path of evolution, self-actualization and self-realization, it is very helpful and valuable. You can also look at it from the analogy of exercise. What exercise one chooses to do will depend on what their goal is (i.e. cardio vs resistance vs flexibility vs endurance). The same thing with meditation. Essentially all can provide improved states of being and wellbeing, just as all exercise can, but on a subtle or specific level they function differently with different specific results, and why according to yoga all 3 meditation states are needed, which train our mind, senses and state of being for the ultimate. Hope that helps to clarify things. Cheers :)

This leads me to believe that it's possible that there is a ceiling to our species's evolution in that we are a manifestation of one of the infinite cycles of trial and error and that if most choices are incorrect, than we will likely find ourselves self-destructing at some point in time.

Marijuana and other drugs are tools that can help us move beyond our current state of consciousness. For example, if you're in pain, painkillers can temporarily move you out of the agonizing and dysfunctional mental state of the pain. Doing so, like the Tom Campbell said, will put you in a state where you have more choices to make. However, like he also said, there are bad choices, so using drugs when they aren't needed will not help with their evolution.

Hi Darko, you are most welcome! Within the playlist of all Tom's episodes here on EBTV (kzbin.info/aero/PLKNHGlZw76Jg4w4N9Q0XtSHR61PVjCmEr) there isn't a specific one that he references the topics you are asking about. He mainly focuses on the science of his work and then we also focus on a lot of real life applications, however the nature of his teaching is very much in alignment and a reflection of what the Buddha and Lao Tzu were pointing at as well.

Good or bad tied to entropy is best way to explain what the reality is in regard to them I've seen yet. For a long time I had considered good and evil, when it comes to human relationships, to be whether someone (or governmental system) would allow personal freedom of choice or not, whether someone is free or restricted from it. Of course, allowing freedom of choice to do bad to one another isn't good, but looking at any relationship in regard to whether one side is giving, or forcing someone to serve them cuts out a lot of ambiguity to whether they are good or not. I think of these two as poles, or as light and darkness, somewhat akin to how a sun freely gives light to all, and how a black hole takes from all by force, yet both serve us from a distance. Without a sun we couldn't have the life we do on the earth, without the black holes at the center of our galaxy, there would be no gathering and I suspect from this, suns could not be born.

Hello again Evita! I recently watched the movie Cowspiracy, and from what i can see it is probable that there will be another mass-extinction if we do not fix our environmental issues. Agriculture seems to be the leading factor here. What are your thoughts on this? I would also love to hear Tom's opinion on your next talk.
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 7 жыл бұрын
Hello Assan! Yes, that is a fantastic film and indeed our Earth issues are serious, as it applies to the environmental destruction, and even human poverty/famine due in large to animal farming, not to mention human health due to the high animal food consumption. All these topics are very near and dear to my heart personally and professionally reflected in all my teaching. Going with a whole-food, plant-based diet for at least about 90% of our food is the optimal solution for our health, the health and welfare of others, and our environment. In addition, whether we look at it from a spiritual or MBT science perspective, it is the choice of lowest entropy, and of highest love and compassion for all involved. Tom shares the same opinion, and we discussed diet in this episode: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGfVoIiYZr6khNk

What would be the point of "growing up" if we are just consciousness? Wouldn't this really just be a game about experience and trying out different points of observing rather than growing up?
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 7 жыл бұрын
Every system, natural (nature/all life) or artificial (technology) goes through growth, evolution and upgrades. It is the natural progression of things. The same goes for consciousness, it is not static. It is always changing and evolving, improving itself, and this includes us "growing up", as we are a very "young" consciousness, generally speaking, as a human species that has ways to go...

I was thinking about these dimention, this reality, this simulation if that is what it is..while looking at the night sky from my verandah tonight. I wondered if all there is, is what we can see in our local, that beyond our vision and hearing, nothing else exists and we create new realities as we move along...on foot, by car, plane, train..etc...and where we have just left, no longer exists except in our heads ?
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 4 жыл бұрын
That is very much in line with Tom's theory about how the nature of this reality works. It is rendered by the observer. No observer, no rendering, but each rendering will fit with the rules of this reality, such that there is a level of consistency. You would probably get more out of this all by diving deeper into Tom's work, whether through his trilogy or videos where he specifically describes his "Theory of Everything" - it is very fascinating indeed.

Chris, this "place" has all the potential within it: the heaven and the hell. If you view any more of Tom's videos, the foundational message is what all spiritual masters and ancient teachers taught: we give meaning to our reality and what we experience is predominantly governed by our perceptions, thoughts and beliefs. And the good news is that we can change those. We cannot change others or control the outcome of all events, but we can change ourselves to have the best experience that we can imagine.

Yes, you are most certainly living in a virtual reality simulation. But it exists in Something that is much more than a "computer." And it is of your own design! If you want to know more details, including exactly WHY you are experiencing a virtual reality simulation rather than Absolute Reality, read my book "The Holy Grail is Found" (available through Amazon).

if life was virtual reality then who makes the construct? this life is real but in this version of ourselves it is best perceived in a material body as we live in a material world, when we lose the body even with OBE and not death we transcend the material code or rules that make up the material code and then matter we can pass through like walls or ceilings ect,, and we can fly and i often wake from dreams which are rare nowadays and it is like i have really been in another world and i interacted with things in my dreams that make life look mundane, i have seen colours that are not part of the material programme, i have seen things or done things that are impossible in this material construct and we are who we want to be or we can be who we want to be if we keep to the programme that we strive to be,, like people who want to work and own their own business,, it starts with an idea, then we slowly make that idea a reality so we become the construct of what reality we want to live in,, and if you think we can do what we want in this part of our life and it won't affect the next part then your wrong,, if your nasty and self obsessed then it will be known in the next part of your existence, so you can't get away with negative actions in the sense that nobody is watching so i can do what i want,, well everything you do here is known in the next chapter of your existence and your bad deeds become known ,, as i do believe that you reap what you sow,, if you don't correct yourself then you may spend a long time making up for it when you lose the material body as time is a factor in this reality but not in the next and i often wonder if we do live multiple lives then why do we not remember it,, one thing i did experience through a DMT trip was i kept my eye's closed throughout the 15 minutes and i saw many things and many colours and i woke in a UFO which was being powered by my own consciouness!! like the matrix film where Neo finds himself in a Vat of fluid and his energy was being used for the machines,, i have since wondered if we are all being used or we have been hijacked to believe that we are living in this world or reality or is it something that we are made to believe as the reality is far worse/, when i woke in the UFO i could see big outlines of Trolls that would not interact with me,, i told them i could see them as we flew through space and i knew i was in a UFO and they was using my consciousness but to wake and find that it was part of a DMT trip was easier to accept than the reality of being hijacked,, as crazy as it sounds even when i first tripped on mushrooms i felt like i was seeing the machines or construct in the sky with many fractals and colours that again do not exist here unless your using your third eye,, i have also had OBE experiences and that was crazy enough although very brief as i shot back in to my body once i realized i was out,, and trust me i felt better out my body than in it,,,

I disagree that this is a perfect environment. Learning lessons belief is outmoded and lacks the understanding of the spiritual dimensions and why we can evolve further in loving environments. There is a skewed understanding of suffering accelerating a loving condition. To give you an example-when you pass you may go to the 2nd dimension (opposed to the 1st which is much like this) the 2nd dimension is beyond our comprehension in the condition of a loving environment, however, there is clearly crucial development as people then evolve to higher dimensions (36th) without experiencing suffering or conflict)

But how do we know we're not a simulation ran by another simulation who's ran by another simulation,etc? I had a dream.. I looked up into the sky and saw 3 large eyeballs looking down on the world through what appeared to be microscopes. Seemingly as if we were being observed like an organism on a petri dish. This dream was profound and really brought understanding to my perception of reality

Perhaps we are, Robert. It is all possible. We don't know most things about this reality, and frankly, are not meant to know until we "grow up" - individually and collectively. The human mind is wired "to know" in its quest for control but the truth is that it cannot handle most information that is beyond its current capacity for knowing. The best thing we can do is work on ourselves to become the best human beings that we can be and keep mastering ourselves via our minds, which will open up greater depths of understanding. This is the biggest point of this reality, and as things stand, we are failing miserably, where most people are distracted completely by the illusions and delusions around them.

That's all very good , and I like Tom , but what about all those kids who get abused and badly treated ? What wrong Choices did they make ? I do understand that they can make choices when they reach adulthood to improve things , but if this is a virtual reality then it created an uneven playing field to begin with . I would like to hear your views on this . And don't get me wrong , I like Tom and I like his positive message . It just seems that not everyone starts on a level playing field . Why would that be ?

Melvyn, this is one of the most difficult things for us as humans to understand from within the "system" itself. It is only when we get perspective and step outside of the limiting confines of duality, which houses ideas such as "good/bad" that we can better come to grasp the notion of different experiences that children and adults alike experience in this reality. No one made any wrong choices, no one is being punished and no one is a victim. Everything has a bigger purpose for the evolution of that soul and its consciousness expansion. From our human perspective we judge this experience to be good and that experience to be bad, but in truth, they all just "are". This is what all Eastern traditions, such as Buddhism have been trying to teach us for millennia. It is just our attachment to this vs. that, which causes the inner turmoil, suffering and judgement. Our playing field is not determined by our "Earthly circumstances" but by our soul evolution. We all get exactly what we need, when we need it to reach the "next step" in our personal growth. From a practical sense even, when we look across numerous examples, any children who have grown up in families where the parents divorced, or the child was orphaned, or they were abused in some way, or they grew up in poverty grow up to be highly functioning adults, who utilize the experience of the contrast to create and express themselves to their highest ability of love, peace and appreciation. At the same time, there are just as many children who grow up in homes where seemingly everything is "great" (i.e. both parents are present, perhaps wealthy, good schools, etc.) and should be well adjusted, only to grow up and express various drug habits, self-esteem issues, and other self-destructive tendencies. Although there is no doubt that some circumstances are "harder" and some "easier", the circumstances alone DO NOT dictate how we will grow up. It is all about HOW we use those circumstances and WHAT we choose to do with them. We can blame and complain or we can take responsibility for our life and state of being, as soon as the awareness and ability arises. We can rise above and empower ourselves not to "be like that" or "do that" (whatever we noticed was destructive to us or others), or we can fall victim to the circumstances and perhaps even repeat destructive family patterns and habits. This is where the great notion of "free will" comes in. Ultimately we have to remember that we play this game many, many times, with each lifetime providing us with a different experience for growth and evolution. And as observers, we cannot judge what any other soul has chosen for any of its given life experiences. What may seem "bad" to us from our current perspective, may be the greatest gift that soul could have given itself. In the end, we all play all roles in one way or another. If we use common terminology, the roles of the "victims" and the "villains". This is all part of our "growing up" and the evolution of this virtual reality to keep lowering its entropy and eventually choose love - from start to finish. For more info and perspective on this subject, I recommend this video I did with Robert Schwartz (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3enYouDmZ14as0). There you will also find many questions and comments similar to what you were asking, and the explanations for greater perspective. Cheers!

Playstation VR shows you how easy it is to be tricked by your eyes. Absolutely love it but it makes you think more. Made me think about life being 2D and our eyes making it 3D. Proper mangles your head when you think about it all.

What about helping animals as opposed to people? I feel more drawn to animals than people. Never wanted or had kids. I just love animals haha

Nothing wrong with that Johnny. We need all kinds of loving and caring beings in this reality. Some to focus on helping children, some on helping women, others on helping men, others on a certain ethnic race or minority, while others yet to focus on animals, and even then it could be different or specific animals, and of course the environment as a whole. Not one role is better or worse than any other, when love and care is the guiding force and intention. We need more of this across all areas in life and helping all living beings.

Alexander Neumann Of course, just as any religious leader can say good things and make good points to those who adhere to such religious beliefs. In fact, even a dictator can say good things and make good points. You get the idea. Lol ;) And yes, he's said that you're not supposed to believe in him, and all that. It means nothing.......we're all making our own choices, after all, regardless of what another wants to tell us. ;)
