Another REALLY excellent talk, I love Tom's message about fear and anger being part of the problem (even when people simultaneously feel compassion). Compassion with NO fear is a good combination as a solution for everyone.

Take or leave the philosophy of a MBT reality. Tom's advice about ego, fear, belief, skepticism, quality of being and intention is totally sound in any kind of universe. These are best practices for the psyche. :0)

So much great information in this one. I got several pages of notes from it. Thank you so very much for taking the time to split screen the bullet points! (Though much of my notes were long, complete quotes from Tom. He was on fire in this one!)

What would you suggest for those with chronic illness that is debilitating? How do they survive in this world and living in poverty? Can you please give me some suggestions on how they should be?

I'm re-listening to the series and is Tom suggesting that when one stops having negative emotions (which he's tying to the individuals ego) then they are no longer functioning from the ego but from the heart of who the truly are? Is any human completely able to be void of ego? I'm curious of his definition of "ego"? I can't tell you how many definitions I've come across for Ego.

+holy living In general, Ego = false sense of self, and we can only be negative when we are not in the flow with life, but rather in some state of resistance to it. So it is not so much as to whether we are functioning from Ego or from heart, but the ability to function as a "whole being" - the true, real, authentic Self driven purely by consciousness. Can we do this? Yes. But naturally, for most, it will take lifetimes of inner work. So that would be just a general answer, but if you'd like to hear directly from Tom, I recommend visiting his forum: www.my-big-toe.com/forums/index.php

Does Tom say anything about animal suffering? Animals go through many kinds of pain in the wild. I'm unsure if they have the power to "make choices" in this reality.
@EvitaOchel
@EvitaOchel 5 жыл бұрын
Tom's entire focus is on us making the most love-based choices, and hence this means not making choices that cause harm, pain, or suffering for animals. This translates, as he has shared in many videos, including one I did with him here (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGfVoIiYZr6khNk) into how we live with regards to animals, including what we eat. In summary, yes, animals have the potential for suffering similar to us, and yes, they can also make choices, but their "choice field" is much narrower than ours. The larger the consciousness of any being, the wider is their field of choice.

I wonder if you would consider making the visual quotes available as a download I think that would be a great help especially when mulling over the content of the video?

Hi Gordon, unfortunately I do not have those in a document format to upload or share with others. The visual summaries and quotes were done during the editing process of the video.
