I am a 65 year old man: 2 years carnivore + skipping breakfast and 3-4 day fasts once or twice a month. Dropped 100 pounds, dangerously high blood pressure normalized, high energy, high libido, smooth mood-state, brain functioning great; in the gym building lean muscle.. Many hanks to: Doctor Anthony Chaffee, Doctor Sean O'Mara, Doctor Ken Berry, Doctor Shaun Baker, Doctor Ben Bikman - and the hilarious Professor Bart Kay.

What i really LOVE about your interviews is, that you always LISTEN so respectfully to your guests, you let them talk, and don't interrupt them all the time like some people do, and you ask them really good questions.

I can’t tell you how heartened I am after listening to this podcast. I’m a week away from turning 58. I’ve have open heart surgery quad bypass and have been hospitalized 3 times for appendix (removed twice believe it or not…stump appendectomy). I was so metabolically damaged but since January 2023 I’ve been on a mission to better health. I’ve been on Keto from January but shifted to carnivore about a month ago and am back to the gym and seeing remarkable results in both physical and mental. Thanks to doctors like you both!!!❤❤❤🥩🥩🥩

I agree with your opinion on older people being better athletes. When I retired from the Army at 55 I could outrun soldiers in their 20s. My training was sporadic sprints and very little distant runs. Now at 61 I walk daily but haven't run in a while.

I just turned 50 and I just completed month 5 of carnivore, I'm eating two to three times as much food as I was before, I was omad and restricting since 1988. I didn't think I was but now I know I was. Anyway despite lifting weights since 16 I've never been able to do one single real push up, I tried again the other day and I did six perfect push-ups! I have healed half a dozen major and minor issues that I had no idea would clear up. I feel so strong and so calm. I will say that I've always had a Paleo whole foods type diet so it's not like I was eating SAD. People don't realize it's possible to under eat and be overweight. Being over fat and undernourished is absolutely a thing. I haven't lost the 20 I need to lose yet but they say healing comes first and then weight-loss sometimes. The other day I decided to use a chainsaw and I went out in the woods and cut up a whole damn tree. I was pretty proud. That sounds unrelated but it's just an example of how strong and capable I feel now. Cheers.

I wish I could get my dad to listen to this!! Dr. O'Mara had me cracking up lol. What a great guy. Very passionate. I'm so happy to see the movement with the medical professionals who are realizing that the medical system in place keeps us sick and it's all about profit and truly want to change it so that they are actually health care professionals. Not pill pushers. I went carnivore a few months ago after being vegan for almost 5 years and of course ending up with health issues. And I was getting my husband to do carnivore because he needed to lose some visceral fat and was having bowel issues. And I just ended up joining him and haven't looked back. Dr. Chaffee your one of my main influences and educators and I love your videos and your attitude and your sincere empathy and care that you show for people. Thanks for the great show as always. His insights on visceral fat, and his protocol to get rid of it, is important to know if you want robust health and optimal performance is your goal. We can continue to learn from these Docs. 😮🤯🤯🤯 Sorry if this is TMI for some. I’ve noticed my incontinence has gone away. I was wracking my brain as to what would aid in this? The other thing I’ve noticed 🎉 is I’m losing the visceral fat under my ribs and upper abdomen, my waist is becoming more oval. Listening to Dr O explain how muscles can’t work optimally with viscera fat, 🤯🤯🤯 “my thought” this explains, to me, lack of proper functioning muscles leading to incontinence🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I had no idea how many problems I would solve by going carnivore🎉🎉🙏💃🏻🥩💪💃🏻💃🏻 Thank you Dr Sean and Dr Chaffee🙏🙏

I transitioned from low carb to carnivore at the end of January. Several of the improvements I’m aiming for are slow to come but I did notice the veins in my legs fading. I have 3 adult kids, two of which are twins, so I do have some veins to heal. In addition, it’s tightening the skin on my face. I’ve lost and gained a few times and weight loss always shows first in my face. However, I’ve always had wrinkles in my thinner face that weren’t there in my fuller face. Not this time. I’m 63 and my crow’s feet have diminished and the wrinkles in the transition from my cheeks to under my eye used to make a cross hatch pattern. Not this time. I’m very pleased overall. One final thing is that the skin on my neck is improving when it usually gets saggier with weight loss, at my age.

Great video Dr Chaffe. I did Keto on and off for years while working occasionally out of state. Now I have done Carnivore for almost one year. Dr Eric Berg spoke about visceral fat occasionally so this topic has been on my mind. My health continues to improve at age 70 in addition to my physical performance and declining body fat. It is incredible to hear Dr O’Mara share his knowledge about visceral fat! In recent months I have decreased my walking and have increased HIIT like sprints and burpees.

Dr. Chaffee, this was a very informative video and Dr. Sean O’Mara needs to join your, what I will call, “Carnivore Dr. Crew!” My goodness! You, Dr. Baker, Dr. Berry, and Dr. O’Mara are a great team to really spread the word on the carnivore diet and it’s healing powers! You all bring a unique perspective to the table! You all should attend these conferences together on a carnivore panel! Dr. O’Mara, thank you for your presentation! Dr. Chaffee has seen me post this before, but I have been a zero carb carnivore for 8 months and will be 9 Months at mid June! I can’t wait to say, “I have been carnivore for 5 years!” I have healed so much! Reversed my peri menopause and all it’s terrible side effects. Back to a regular cycle and no symptoms except the actual period itself! I lost 45+ lbs on carnivore life style within around 6-8 weeks. I assume a bunch was water weight, but I know I had visceral fat to loose before carnivore. I have even reversed my fibrocystic chest issue to the point there is only one smaller mass left. Yes ladies, carnivore diet can even cure that! I had a build up going since I was 40 and docs said not reversible! They were wrong! And all my life time I have had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- the stigmatism is reversing. I shocked my eye doctor at my last yearly eye exam. My parents and grandparents had glaucoma and I don’t want it. Once I found out it was from plant toxins I went Carnivore for that too! I am 46 years old, 5’7” and back at 122 lbs and working on building more muscle weight. I have always used hand weights (10lb-25/30lbs in each hand) but Dr. Baker talked me into building more muscle weight so I bought a 47lb barbell and will slowly start adding 10lb weights to it once I feel the bar itself is too easy. My stomach has become very slim on the carnivore zero carb lifestyle, back to what it was as a teenager, so I am pretty sure most of my visceral build up from age 40-45 is about gone. Maybe later I will get one of those scans to check my visceral fat but will wait a bit more to see what muscles I can build up on more. ☺️ I will add Dr. O’Mara to my list of recommended carnivore doctors and share on youtube so more watch him as well. Thank you both Dr. Chaffee and Dr. O’Mara! You are both doing excellent humanitarian work by trying to heal the world with the carnivore diet! ☺️🌴

This really strikes a chord with me. I'm 58 and started a keto diet about a year ago. I initially lost quite a bit of weight and this helped me with my running. However about six months in I started to see a dramatic improvement in my fitness despite not doing any extra training. I go to a track group every Saturday and had always lagged towards the back of the pack. Suddenly I was near the front with people 20 years younger than me. The weight loss, while great, didn't explain this but now I think I understand. Thanks for a great presentation.

Most of the time, the only way people learn is from example and some of the best examples in a person's life is his or her doctor, who is living the truth. Too many doctors and health professionals are so grossly overweight, that no one believes they are the best ones to follow for advice or good health. The layman, neighbor or uncle who loses those extra pounds and actually looks and behaves healthier will be noticed and will be copied by those around him. Eventually, with more and more people going carnivorous and becoming healthier and living longer, doctors will have to make the jump from just prescribing Rx and tests to prescribing and endorsing the eating of carnivore only. I always enjoy learning from you Dr. Chaffee and you are a prime example of what eating carnivore looks like. You also bring on guests that are not just knowledgeable but are prime examples of what they are teaching. I really enjoyed this lecture today with Dr. O'Mara. He has a tremendous amount of common sense and science and when you combine that, it becomes undeniable evidence. Great job, Dr. O'Mara !!!!!

@@anthonychaffeemdI will add we NEED studies to look at the contribution Fermented plants to the carnivore diet versus just carnivore or carnivore plus fermented animal products. Fermentation eliminates plant defenses BUT how much & how effectively varies I think. For now I recommend my clients consume fermented foods in small quantities as a MICROBIAL Garnish and so unlike any other food. You are therefore eating them for their good germ effect NOT as food. Huge difference. I do believe microbiome strategies will be as important as food/eating/carnivore diet strategy. We must always ask, study, watch observe. The best metrics: How you LOOK & how you PERFORM.

These 2 men are amazing. Both of them are unassuming. They present themselves as high-quality men. I have been attempting carnivore I haven't been able to really connect with losing weight. I cheat on it a little bit, but listening to these 2 men.. I think that they can really help me. The strict carnivore is what I am lacking. Processed foods, sugar, and carbohydrates have always been my downfall. Strict carnivore is what I have to concentrate on. These men are accomplished in every way. Both of them are roll models for all of us. I know that this is going to be a major game changer.

I love these types of videos especially by doctors. I just started on May 12,2023 I did keto 15 years ago after having gastric bypass surgery which I wish I had never done but I lost 140 lbs from 320lb to 180lb I had a lot of stress at that time and didn't know about KZbin didn't even know if there was information like this at that time. Since that time I have gained all my weight back and I'm always is horrible pain my skin is so dry my hair it's not healthy just in recent 6 months i got syatica now im using a Walker and i never leave my house because i have become so weak i can't climb stairs and getting into my car is painful just having to lean on one leg to lift the other to get in the car is a nightmare. My family is very worried about me😢 my diet was all carbs and sugar I could have cared less about meat, vegetables or fruit I ate junk all the time I loved bread and could live off toast with half stick of butter on it 3 times a day but I didn't I ate pizza, candy, cookies, chips, all pastas. I prayed to God to please help me I gave up my will I told God he had control to take away my craving and love for carbs and sugar. My days were watching mostly KZbin I don't like regular TV I like scrolling KZbin and the next day after I prayed and cried out to God to help me the first video I seen was CARNIVORE VIDEO Dante from Ferrigno Freedom whom I had watch his video a couple years ago and thought it was crazy and when I seen him I was so shocked he looks so good his skin is beautiful he has muscles he looks amazing so this is how I got on the Carnivore train. Now I watch as many videos as I can I weighed 291lb on the 12th now I weigh 281lbs on the 24th I can't eat like most Carnivores because I have a smaller stomach pouch I can eat 2 eggs w/2 sausage patties in morning but I'm not hungry until 1 or 2pm then I might have can of sardines or tuna and dinner 1 burger or small steak I try using as much butter and salt as I can, I'm still having diarrhea once or twice a week very foul smell, gas is foul so disgusting especially for me because I hate poop I hate pooping I wish I didn't have to do it I hate gas I hate anyone's gas it's just gross but mine are very foul...I sure hope this diarrhea and gas go away soon. One more thing your sponsor of the meat bars the ingredients include RAW HONEY I thought we were not to eat honey?

Thank you for releasing these youtube videos as a podcast as well. I will ask that the person that does the editing to put the advertisement in the podcast doesn't place it in the middle of a sentence. I appreciate that Dr. O'Mara affirmed what I was taught in high school human biology 40 years ago. It would be a pleasure to sit down and have a discussion with Dr. O'Mara. I don't fully agree with all of his hypotheses, but I would love to sit down and chat about them. I would have been interested in talking with him about his client, that he changed his distance running to only sprinting. I do agree that sprinting probably does help with the reduction of visceral fat than slow distance running does, and I understand the reasons why, but distance running can help with personal stresses that can also affect visceral fat. It would be interesting to find out if he has another client take one or two distance runs a week and changes them to sprinting days to see if they will have the same results. I would also like to discuss the opinion that our species was meant to only sprint. There is research and hypotheses that argue the reason we are able to sweat is to keep our body temperature down as we run for hours tracking herds until they finally overheat and slow, and then we can sprint and kill them for our food. And his claim that our ancestors inherently fat-shamed people in a tribe if they started to gain size in their waist. I would be interested if that is year-round or also when people would eat fruits purposely to gain body fat once they ripen to prepare for the winter when animals weren't as easy to find and kill. Dr. O'Mara's claim that animals need to be grass-fed and grass-finished is needed is a bit short-sided, and some might even say elitist. I don't disagree that grass-finished meat is healthier, but there isn't enough evidence that grass-finished meats make much of a difference unless it is the milk you are talking about. It is the decisions we are able to have that help all of us progress to a better self.

Very interesting! I did a full body MRI before starting my significant lifestyle changes. I plan another full body MRI after one year. Since my waist has gone down to a lower circumference than I’ve been able to get it in the last decade or so, I think I’ll have good changes in my visceral fat. Carnivore plus the workouts I’m doing should make my next MRI look much better!

@@DrSeanOMara I live in MN, and I had it done in Edina. Prenuvo offered setting up an appointment to go over the results, but I felt that was unnecessary so I declined it. They probably wouldn’t have touched on the visceral fat anyway in such an appointment. I took a screenshot of the image in the same region as your images in the video, and I think I’m going import it to procreate and color it like you did in the video. I have more visceral fat than I want to see, not enough muscle, and fat visible in the muscle (like you showed in one of the images). I’m going to encourage my husband to watch this video . He’s been getting a growing belly over the years, and for years his only exercise was long distance running. Plus he needs to clean up his diet. I cleaned my diet in February & workout (mix of HIIT, weightlifting, flexibility & mobility work & I no longer do long distance running). I’ve encouraged my husband to change up his exercise and he begrudgingly tried a HIIT workout this week.

But 2 weeks now into carnivore, I think I'm starting to notice my hair at the front growing back! It's not a huge deal that I (was?) losing my hair, but an unexpected surprise that now it's coming back! My lower legs are nearly bald at the moment, but not from shaving.
