Fun reaction- subbed! Tatiana says she tries to be vegan but it's hard because she grew up in a poor working class family in eastern Ukraine and meat was a luxury, so now it's really tempting. Perennial live at Wacken will show you what they can do on stage at the end of a half hour set, with even faster switching and more technical cleans. Though for more intense belting, I Speak Astronomy live from Wacken or On The Top Live in Kiev (Kyiv) are better. Or for mie intense growling you can't beat Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev (Kyiv - both came out before the romanization based on the Ukrainian pronunciation became established). Eventually, I highly recommend Home Back, about their hometown in eastern Ukraine getting caught in the war that has been going on there since 2014. It's rare that ordinary people caught in a war zone have the opportunity to share their experiences as their own work rather than through the filter of someone else's agenda. Most of our anti-war media either originates in or is influenced by the recollections of soldiers. That makes Home Back an important piece of work even outside the context of the current conflict, and within the metal genre imo it is at least on par with classics One by Metallica and War Pigs by Black Sabbath.

Was supposed to see them in Katy Texas last month. Unfortunately Russia had other ideas and that didn't happen. Some if the most down to Earth people ever in metal. Both times I saw them I hung out with Vlad and Roman for hours. Both times we went through several packs of smokes. Just awesome humble people!

Outside of the microphone Tati is a very introverted person, in the mic she is a beast, a metall godess :) The guys are all top musicians. Best metal band there is (my opinion) See their live performances, this band is as good or better live than studio

Great reaction. Loved your vegan jokes. I tried a vegan diet once, but I found them stringy and too hard to catch. (ba-dum-bum) Jinjer is an amazing band; I highly recommend reacting to their live performances to understand just how good their musicianship is. Tatiana's appearance and voice would say different, shes a introvert and gentle soul. She never warms up before performing and writes most of the lyrics for the band, 1st in Russian then converts it to English, her Native tongue is Ukrainian yet 95% of there songs are sung in English but this method works for her. Tatiana is 100% self taught singer and growler only 1 member (bassists) has had 1 professional music lesson otherwise they are all self taught. The drummer is classically trained pianist, his band prior to Jinjer needed a drummer so he taught himself to play drums lol now hes regarded one of the best current metal drummers, he plays with very minimal drum kit but still produces a very heavy and technical sound. As others said Perennial live at Wacken showcases her talent and her energy, another Judgement & Punishment 1 take shows Tatiana's many vocal styles

If you want to go old school check out Scissors and Destroy - Live at Beastiarum. Dreadlock Tati! Jinjer is a spectacular band. All Hail Queen Tati!

lol great reaction, you know I have a magazine from the 1940's and the author was saying when he went to a restaurant the most miserable people were the vegetarians lol. Anyway Pisces" is a song about duality and no one does it better than Tatiana, my pick for the best female singer of all time regardless of genre, at least in pop music. In her interviews she just comes across as the girl next door, somewhat surprised by her fame, and she even has a video on how she developed her scream. If you want to just focus on her try "Judgement and Punishment" and I really like "Perennial", a live performance. But you can't go wrong with any of the songs, they're all great (and not to overlook the rest of the band either, they're all top notch) Anyway have a good day, happy reacting!

I love your show of support for Ukraine in the beginning, considering they're a Ukrainian band themselves. The vocalist, Tati, is safe in America but the rest of the members can't get out of the country because men aged 18 to 60 are required to stay. Let's pray for their continued safety in this war 🙏

It is consistently baffling to me how people are still just now reacting to this song. It's been years and years. Is there really any surprise left in this? Oh well, in any event this is my first time to your channel and I truly enjoyed your reaction and more importantly your thoughtful analysis of the song structure itself, the interplay between major and minor shifts in the melody line that she is singing during the melodic vocals. She's not the first to be this profession at the guttural vocals that actually has a history going back to the 1980s with vocalist like Debbie Gunn who sang for Sentinel Beast, and Angela Glasgow who happened to be the ultra brutal vocalist for Arch Enemy oh, but that's not to take anything away from Tatiana. She had clearly put in the work and has such a dynamic really invoice to show for it. Cheers

Nice Reaction! Like others have said Jinjer (the band) is from Ukraine and they are currently being invaded by russia. The 3 guys in the band are still in Ukraine helping to defend their country (they were supposed to be on tour right now with Slipknot in the U.S.). and Tatiana is in California with her boyfriend? or husband? Lol. No, Tatiana is not vegan. She also is not Jinjer, she is their vocalist! After some time you will still find her awesome, but then realize how great the guys are as musicians. They all complement each other as a well oiled machine. That is one of the strengths of Jinjer. They are all great at what they do.
