Afternoon tea for me, when I was a kid, was around 5 in the afternoon at home on a weekend usually with an uncle or grand parent guest. A simple freshly prepared salad with quality ham, homemade bread, pickles and dinky pork pies from a local pork butcher and for us kids all washed down with lashing of Corona pop. Then a vanilla slice for pudding. Doctor Who then bed. It doesn't get much better! Happy days.

I live in Morley and there loads of free parking in Morley Morrisons car park one opposite market entrance just knowing where. Love nigellas highly recommend others are Caffè Moments too. Be careful if parking in BnM car park but if you buy something in store over £5 you get free parking anyway. Thank you for showing off our beautiful Yorkshire town.

Your right fella. Debate on Dinner or Tea has been a thing for years in our house. My missus just won’t have it called tea....it’s dinner and that’s that. I grew up calling it tea and am not gonna change for no one . The look of disgust when I say the word is priceless.....30 years on

I grew up calling it tea time as well. If I was playing in the garden after school, my mum would always shout from the back door - "Yer tea's ready!"

In our family it was always breakfast, lunch and supper ! Tea was just that, a cup of tea :-)

I don't think it's that simple - to me it depends on the type of meal - always called it dinner if it was a proper meal like a roast or big family meal but tea if it was a smaller meal or something light.
