For anyone wondering, the Only other place where a Heavy rail train regularly travels on the same track as a light rail train is from Brockley Whins to Sunderland on the Tyne and Wear Metro, I might be wrong with this but i know it is one place where it occurs.

You are wrong. It is between Pelaw and Sunderland, running on the same track with the hourly northern service, Grand Central stock movements, Once a day LNER service, freight, etc. You can also count the recently upgraded part between Pelaw and Bede which runs alongside the occasional freight train (It wasn’t always like that)

I said Brockley Whins since the track isn’t actually shared in Pelaw station meaning Brockley Whins is where they first share the track.

@@iliketheLNER nerd emoji moment but its acc fellgate that it starts if you dont count pelaw junction
@tjidk1 Жыл бұрын
@@iliketheLNER technically pelaw because it is the nearest station to the junction where national rail corresponds with metro. The triangle at brockley whins is freight traffic only to tyne dock. Also, what about felgate?

@@arlogeeeI see my mistake, i sometimes forget about Fellgate meaning i said Brockley Whins was the first station where the Metro and National Rail share track.

Tyne and Wear Metro Network, is the First KarlsruehTram-Train Style System in UK. Metrocars are technically the same as street articulated trams, with a body work based on popular underground train network design, due to its network be segregated to railway mode only...for now. Hope it helps. Nice to watch your video.
