Sometimes I feel Singapore is really built for the people. There's free waterparks in neighbourhoods. Excellent swimming complexes with water slides costing only $1.50 per entry (I'm not referring to wet&wild).. There are also towns that are serene like Punggol 21, in which nearby you should visit Coney Island. They're free and great for children to learn about nature. Hiking along Henderson Wave, Mac Ritchie reservoir or Bukit Timah Hill are very enriching too. With a little bit of budget, try Pulau Ubin (island off Changi point ferry terminal). Cycling there is amazing.

Accommodation is definitely the hardest part for a budget traveler. There are so many free/low price things to do when there! We would love to return someday and explore more. Maybe not during the rainy season though...

Thanks for the video as it was quite informative. I don't do instagram or tik-tok so I don't know much more about your life style than what I see on your youtube channel. I do wonder what your doing or where your going in addition to the videos that I see. I.e., do you stay at hotels or do you rent a place to stay in whichever country you are in? Do you eat out all the time or cook your meals at a place that you might be staying? Maybe you could do a video on how you organize your time when you are not doing the things that we see on a video? Maybe you are always on the go? Thanks for your time. Have a beautiful day!! Illinois, USA

Yes! It varies a lot depending on the country. Hotel means we eat out a lot but if we can we rent an apartment so we can make meals at home. Right now we are making lots of meals as we RV across the US. Will definitely consider doing a video about some more of the lifestyle aspects instead of the location. 😁

If you have chance to come back Singapore, on rainy day, try to go to one of the many interesting malls with your kids. Like Vivo City, with the nice library, & with monorail to Sentosa that does have some free attractions, or Suntec malls, with Marina Square with underground to esplanade mall - all under shelters. In the sometimes wet and very humid weather, many locals prefer to hangout in malls.

That’s a great tip! We are determined to make it back to Singapore someday.
