I don't know how these places make any money. Realistically, once you've been once, are you ever going to go again? Surely not. It must cost a fortune as despite the rudeness, all the rudeness is quite time consuming for the staff. This one in London is in a backstreet in Islington - every restaurant that has preceded it hasn't survived very long - i can't see this one surviving either.

The only trouble with this is that if you're marketing this as a selling point then it becomes fake,for the original genuine rude restaurant you should have gone to Wong Kei in London’s Chinatown years ago because it's no longer rude due to a change in ownership.😅

I have seen a review of Karens in Sheffield similar set up but there is certain lines that they never cross . Its something different the idea is you take someone there like a family member who just don't have a clue what it's all about.

The theory of this restaurant was always going to be better than the practice. The practice is actually cringe AF. They should probably get the investors In to act as servers because I would be rude if I had invested in the place... How is this place turning a profit?! I think this performance was a combination of two things, of her liking him but also her emptying her full Karen cupboard on him, because of the camera presence and her knowing he was an influencer of sorts (good for business). I agree that the floor crawling and humiliating tasks were over the top and borderline dominatrix material!, but Harrison didn't help by complying without protest, that bit was painful to watch TBH. I suspect under normal circumstances it's fun for a group to experience something different but I do hope they can gauge how far to go in each case. Very entertaining anyway! 😁.
