I have a 601 visa when i came to Australia. Then i extended for 3 months with 600 visa which is about to expire. So i am flying out and planning to come back. My 601 visa is still not expired. Can i still use it or it was not valid since when i had my 600?

My wife and I are US citizens who have applied for an Australian Visitor Visa (600), arriving by cruise ship and departing by air 5 days later. The response was that we need our medical doctor to directly submit a "Serum Creatinine and Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR)" which is a common urine test. Is there a way to verify if this is correct? The government website does not provide a contact portal for verification.

The angry part for ETA processing, is no where to track status, no where to feedback, no one to ask... wil be tough for those who gt emergency.. hope they review their process.. in order to avoid ppl abuse their visa, shuld restrict the rule who abuse the visa illegally, nt delay those who try to apply just for family visiting and travel.

Thanks. Does the visitor visa ETA subclass 601 consist of a clause that says ‘no further stay’ ? I have a lot of mixed comments and answers around stating that a person holding visitor visa while in Australia are not eligible to apply for spouse visa(subclass 820) unless the clause ‘no further stay’ is not stated. I wasn’t really sure if visitor visa ETA subclass 601 would allow anyone to apply for spouse visa (subclass 820) while in Australia as they are meant to be visitor , short term stay only
