Even the quintessential things to see in Venice videos don’t often speak of these slightly away from the must-see landmarks and locations. Not that I consume a lot of Vince content, but the attention to detail in these locations I really appreciate about these vlog-reviews.

I think this video - and part 1 - must rank as some of your best. Absolutely stunning ! We love Rome and Florence, but have yet to do Venice and Milan. This looks the perfect fit. After our Rhine cruise in October (via Panache), must start saving the pennies for this one (although 2 weddings 24/25 and a new boiler might delay when we do it 😂).

Absolutely stunning 😍 We were there for a pre cruise stay Aug. 2019. We loved it and said we would go back one day. This has sold me that this is the way to do it. Especially with the tours included. Thanks so much for your review. Question: did you find you missed out on any of the views by staying in the “swans eye view”? Also were the tours you highlighted on this video included in the fare? Almost forgot “Win Star”!

In answer to your questions, we would probably choose a room on deck 3 or 4 if we were able to. The view was limited and we found waves on the window disturbed us at night. Although the higher deck suites would cost more we think it would probably be worth it. And yes, all the tours you saw were included in the fare. There was often a choice too 👍 Thank you so much for watching Joan and so glad you enjoyed it - it’s definitely a great way to spend a week in Venice.

WIN STAR ! Your video brought back many wonderful memories of Venice - it does feel like you’re on a film set, it’s so beautiful at every turn. Verona is also very nice, the Juliet museum is amazing (I posted a letter to the Juliet’s Society and did indeed get a handwritten response a couple months later). In the courtyard of the balcony of Juliet, did you do the traditional touch on the Juliet statue’s breast for luck in love? 😊

QUESTION - A wonderful review of a wonderful area! - Milano, Burano, Venice, etc. Are there good tour options for a person with some mobility issues? (Not wheelchair bound, but not good for walking distances either.)

Thanks for watching Randy. From memory Uniworld had tours that were classified as ‘easier’ (or words to that effect) for people who wanted less walking. Some of the tours we went on had very little walking in them but others were more strenuous - but there’s usually more than one choice and they were very specific about how much walking was involved so you could make your own decision about whether you’d be able to cope with it or not 👍

Haha! Well that’s really like choosing between a filet steak or a dark chocolate mousse! Both delicious but totally different. We’ve heard amazing things about Vista but comparing a river cruise with an ocean cruise is a bit difficult. 😆

We sailed into Dubai on our spice route voyage with Azamara in 2019. We stayed on the QE2 for one night and did a video on that as well as vlogs on the spice route voyage. Hopefully we’ll get there again another day soon, there’s much we didn’t get to do/see 👍
