Last weekend (5/2/15) I visited with Polly and Alonzo. You'll also see George, Polly and Wanda's brother sitting on the porch as well.

Now that's a strong and loveing family . I really admire them . I think that I would rather go visit there family then some rich family . True . I am not saying that rich people are bad , it's just people who don't have much seem to have a better understanding about life , suffering , love and kindness . I love them . Miss . I had relatives, in Kentucky, who lived in homes just like this. They grew a garden, canned their goods, and would share them with us when we visited. Canned green beans, jelly and jams, tomatoes, so very tasty. We weren't familiar with HOW these canned delicacies were actually made, we just knew what the canned green giant veggies and smuckers were. This was WORK. Anyone who says these people are lazy needs to: Find a piece of land to farm. Cultivate the soil, and prep for planting. Plant the basics, ones you can can. Till, and weed, and apply bug repellent, DAILY. Pray for rain, or hope where your garden is located it will catch the rain in the lowspots. Keeping animals at bay, or plant marigolds to repel animals. Do this in the hot summer, no ac. Encourage your kids and grandkids to participate, teaching them how to feed themselves. Harvest your crops, then get your jars ready, boiling them to be as clean as they can to prevent germs, molds, etc. Make sure you have canning labels to date and mark, etc. Storing space and temp right for types you canned. Over plant and over can, in case someone didn't or couldn't, share. Open one at a time to prevent waste. Eat only what you need. So, I think I have described the following traits one must know. Meteorologist Engineer Botany Biology Chemist Cooking expert Teacher Exercise instructor These people are not stupid nor lazy. They are some of our country's hardest workers, supporting family, with love. Life lessons. Love for family. Respect in one's self. Those who talk down about these people need to get in the garden and do what they do, from planting the first seed to labeling the last jar.

The mean comments about this family being unable to escape poverty just highlight the very ignorance at the heart of why we are divided. America isnt divided because of race or gender or anything other than scarcity. We all struggle to make ends meet and some people choose to put others down to feel better but you should learn that the top 13% of America control 84% of the wealth, that means that 87% of America is fighting one another for 16% of the wealth america has to offer and the only people who are not struggling or bitter are the top 13% I'm just saying most all of us are struggling so instead of bashing people unable to come up from the systemic generational handing down of poverty, let's all try to uplift and understand that we are all in this together as americans who struggle.

I love this family The Bowlings . They are so down to earth and very humbled people . I would love to know how they are doing . They are a very strong family with so much love for each other . I ain't never been to Kentucky but I would love to go spend some time with them . I grow up on a small farm . I have a big family we didn't have much but we had alot of love for each other . Ain't nobody perfect and ain't nobody got the perfect family . They live on some beautiful land . Some people talk about Living Off The Grid . This family been living off the grid before liveing off the grid became famous . They are very smart people . I sure would like to know what happened to Clint , I hope that he and the rest of his family are happy , blessed and safe . They need to do another update because they have me and so many people who love and care about them so much . They remind me of my family . They remind me of that old TV show The Walton's . The Walton's was one of the best tv shows ever . I love before they went to bed every night they would tell each other Good Night . Good Night John Boy 😀 The Bowlings could make them a KZbin channel and teach people how to grow a garden , how to survive in the woods , how to cook , and make those beautiful quilts that they sew . I want one of those beautiful quilts . I would watch there Bowlings Family show . They are just so humbled and so down to earth . I wish them the best . One thing that I have learned about life is no matter our skin color , rich or poor we all have more in common with each other . then we know . It's about love and respect for all people . God said That he created us all in his image . No human being is better then the other . We are all equal in God's eyes . Just imagine a parent has kids but that parent had to pick there favorite child ? Mostly likey it would be so hard for that parent to pick there favorite child . Anyway back to The Bowlings , they are an amazing beautiful family . I love them . Miss . Linda ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️💎😀

However, we were not in any way as isolated as your family. Speaking for many fans, we'd like to hear how Polly is recovering, how the next generation is holding the family together. I cannot imagine the effect of losing Mrs.Iree in 2010. She seemed to keep everyone together. How is your Dad, Neil & Mother, Wanda? Please give thought to making a video to update us on everyone, who has passed and how all of the family is doing. Thank you. ❤

Ok, thanks. I was wondering who he was. He seems to have gotten an education. Good for him. I wonder if he was helped by the Kennedys?

Poor Dog ??
@alohalivin5564 жыл бұрын
One Buk3 yes poor dog. It’s abusive to tie up an animal, restrict its life to a few feet. How would you like living in a 5 foot area most of your life? The dog has no freedom, it’s abusive..
@alohalivin5564 жыл бұрын
It’s abusive, more places should have laws about that (and so many don’t). No idea why so many people think they have a right to do as they please with an animal as if they own the planet 🤬

AlohaLivin my dog only moves 3.5’ away from me anytime we are outside on a leash. But I agree. I actually went to someone’s home recently and the dog was tied up INSIDE the house. They said it was bc they order food a lot. I’m like ??????? So just put the dog in a crate a couple mins before you get your delivery it’s not hard

It’s kinda sad to see them sitting around chugging beers during the day, they didn’t do that back in 99 in the documentary, can’t imagine Iree would appreciate sitting about drinking all day.. Even at the big party they had in the documentary on Labor Day, they were all chugging Pepsi.. I mean I’ve been there myself, there was a stage in my life when I would sit and drink during the day so I’m not knocking them for it but it just seems sad after watching the documentary.. Hope they’re all doing fine. I loved Wanda and Polly. 🙂
