Awesome video and research. American Samoa is the most beautiful place on the planet. I was born and raised there and I miss my home. Another way to save the Islands coastal area's is by deep sea dredging. The U.S. uses dredging to build up miles of coastline and public beaches. American Samoa's harbor area and airstrip were developed by dredging. The Island can invest in deep sea dredging like before and develop its coastal areas. Establish outer sea mounds as wave breakers to prevent erosion like Waikiki. Develop and build up Utulei beach, Aua beach, Leone black sand beach and Nuuuli beach and open to the public. Are the Hawaiian islands sinking ? Especially big Island where there is so much volcanic activity?

I had never seen a net yard. The size of tuna fishing nets is awe inspiring.

Just fix sea walls around the island to protect or hold the soil from going into the ocean when waves smash the shorelines....
