@MuteProduction3 жыл бұрын
that’s odd, make sure you followed the steps correctly and try again
@justynwclark3 жыл бұрын
@@MuteProduction the resynthesis still isn't the same, but it's similar. What did you use to randomize your velocity in the first example? I use CuBase Pro 11 if that makes any difference. Once you set random velocity, that sound changed into something that I can't even get close to replicating. 😓
@MuteProduction3 жыл бұрын
the resynth appears to change a bit each time, you can get it to be a bit more reliable by turning off the random phase on the oscillator and choose phase position that you like best, but it is fairly minimal difference. Also the tempo of your track will effect the resynth because we are using bear divisions for the LFO speed, which will make a big difference to the sound. I used a max for live device to generate random velocity, you could replace it with a random modulator or you could use something like Riffer from AudioModern
@clarkflavor2 жыл бұрын
Is this only possible in Vital or could I do it in Serum as well?

Hey Shep, I seem to be having some trouble with this one. When I use the white bar to scroll through the wavetables its not sweeping through them smoothly like in your tut, its like the synth is retriggering everytime the wave changes. Any ideas on where I'm going wrong?
@switchmain19564 жыл бұрын
I may have answered my own question. Getting the smoothness seems to lie in that wavetable editor. Still having the problem that my wavetable editor doesn't seem to behave like yours. This sound is so cool I'm determined to get it so will go back to the drawing board.
@MuteProduction4 жыл бұрын
did you delete all the unnecessary parts of the wave? You can get around this by using a 4 second long rate on the LfO, this will however sound a bit different

@BappinProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@MuteProduction why no upgrade? I'm liking it so far (I have Beta access), comping is cool, even for fully ITB workflow, since you can comp anything you like. MPE is nice for pads, even without a controller as you can just draw in pitch, slide and pressure articulations. The new effects and updates are great. The Spectral Resonator is very "psytrancey" and the Dillon Baston devices (still not available) look to be very useful, especially the bouncing balls one, for creating interesting/organic random seq.
