From my research, the best folding e-bikes in this price range and style at this time are Anniioki A7 Pro, Vitilan I7 Pro, and Polarna M6 Pro and will depend on everyone's preference of body/suspension style and battery power. The slight differences in accessories should not make a difference since they're cheap and you can add them later like better horn or turn signals. The A7 has hydraulic shocks in the front but duel suspension in the rear while the other 2 have pneumatic air shocks in the front and single suspension in the back. The M6 has 1000W 17.5AH 65NM battery, A7 has 750W 20AH 80NM battery, and I7 has 750W 16AH 80NM battery so the M6 might be able to get you a little higher MPH but the other 2 will have more torque. Of course, every company is always trying to one up each other since they're so similar and most likely built in the same factory, so it can quickly be changing with future upgrades.

I been looking at folding bikes that may fit in most cars or vehicles. My Ariel Rider Kepler needs to be on a big trailer hitch rack.. Not so convenient .. @@kevinnashskitchen3517 Yea I would hope so with a 35AH dual battery but that's why I said in the same price tier for folding bikes and that one is about a grand more than the other 3. I feel they could've done a lot better with performance and throw in at least a 1000W motor though and do more with the dual batteries besides mainly extending range, but that's the name of the game for releasing future upgrades to maintain price points. I'm more concerned with the ride quality and performance rather than extended range since it's not fun riding in the bottom half of the battery level. It'd be better to buy a back up battery so you can switch it out with a fresh new charge.

Even most companies that are physically in the US have their bikes built in China in these factories shipped here then shipped to the customer. They are the middle man also and the only thing that is different is they will have US based customer service (which will be a big deciding factor for some people)but they also started as individuals with an idea and now have a huge business. If a bike company produced all the parts themselves the price of the bikes would be outrageously expensive. They all pick the parts they want on the bike and have them assembled to their specifications. No different than most products sold on the internet these days. I would rather have parts on my bike from a well known brand like Shimano, cst, Tektro ect…that these bike companies use than some no name parts that you think they should produce themselves. Everyone has to start somewhere! Even with bikes built in the USA most parts are shipped in from overseas. Also I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Some of these bikes are similar but have different features and perform differently and that’s why I love reviewing them showing all the features and how they perform.

@@JeremiahMcintosh I like your videos I get it . But this is like nothing we've ever seen .. not the same as typical REAL COMPANIES that have the products made over seas .. As for being different SOOOOO SMALLL DIFFERENCES!!! Only reason there is differences SOOO SMALL is because some update and Upgrade there parts faster than others all from the sam mfg BUT the ones that are slightly behind will quickly catch up within months the most a year... It truly is like McDonald's... For instance the company ( LECTRIC ) wich I think is the most popular ( seems to be behind upgrading ) this is because they got so big and has SOOOOO many bikes in stalk they can't keep up of have time. There staff keeps growing. Andu are incorrect about if bikes were made here . That use to be the case... Not any more . There was even articals about this that have been debunked. The problem WITH THESE HALF ASSED COMPANIES is you will never know the reliability or integrity!!!! Most of them ARE JUST ALONG FOR THE RIDE TO MAKE MONEY!!!! They probably have other half assed companies.. just trying to get some of the action!!! THEY TALK ABOUT IN THE ABOUT IS SOME BOGUS STORY ( HOW THEY LOVE BIKES 🤣🤣😂🤣 LIES!!! They just want ur money!!! I know u like doing reviews and making money on u tube. so ur trying to get that action... E-bikes are hot right now... But I came to my conclusion quickly buy researching for a new EBIKE!!! LOOKING FOR INTEGRITY, COUSTMER SUPPORT... AND WHAT I FOUND WAS DISTURBING!!!! I know you don't want to hear it but .. all these bike reviews are LIKE WATCHING THE SAME REVIEW OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. yours are better than most. But it really is the same exact review with a different name on a bike almost the same exact everything. The only real differences is some of these companies get the more powerful motors from the same manufacturer, they may add hydraulic brakes instead of manual, they may use air shocks like some because that's the newest thing and have rare suspension. But that is just up to the middleman deciding if he wants to put the extra money in or keep the price down. But I mean come on you have to admit it's the same review over and over again I've never seen anything like it. And like I said some of them are on there game and upgrade quickly with the new controller and other things as I mentioned. For instance when I talked about the GeForce bike you said the controller was only 20 amps not even 3 months later they upgraded it to 22 amps.. now they're probably going to upgrade it within the next 3 months to 25 amps.. It's just a race to get to the manufacturers upgraded parts and put them in their bikes quicker than the next guy. BUT COME ON IT'S THE SAME REVIEW YOU HAVE TO SEE IT 😀 There's actually one company that makes them much better frame that I've never seen before... That is slightly different because of that and it can handle 831 lb they are not as up-to-date with the high-power controllers in other small things But the frame in the way capacity is something I've never seen And it's about $1,000!! The company name is. ( MIHOGO ) I don't think you've reviewed them yet. And you watch if that bike becomes popular everybody will be able to get THAT SAME EXACT FRAME. BECAUSE IT'S PROBABLY MADE BY THE SAME MANUFACTURER EVERYONE'S BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY JUST GOT IT QUICKER.. Because of this no one can patent anything no one can be a special company and have the integrity of old school companies.. It really is disappointing.. I just don't know how many videos anybody can continuously watch that is basically the same identical thing over and over again with ever so slight upgrades that all the companies will have within the next 5 months!! I do like G-Force they have a good reputation but if LECTRIC could keep up with all the upgraded parts I'd probably go with them because their customer services probably the best.. they have a really good faculty if you go on KZbin and watch of really good people who seem to care. They answer your phone calls they fix your problems. They just need to get on the ball to upgrade things more quicker to keep up with these small couple of people companies.. But man do I really love that the way capacity is 881 lbs from the company I mentioned. That bike is so strong..

Here's a little education for people who want to know about spiked wheels versus mag wheels. Spoked wheels actually performed better in some circumstances than mag wheels. So it all depends what you want and your situation. Here's a difference between spoke wheels and mag wheels on motorcycles. The same is for e-bikes.. I can't copy and paste the link because KZbin will erase The link. In the below line I copied and pasted the most important part of spoke wheels versus mag wheels ------------ Performance Spoked wheels are all but mandatory on off-road bikes - dirt bikes, enduros, scramblers and ADVS - for one simple reason: spoked wheels are more durable than single-piece cast wheels. On the road, while riding around on your street bike, you (hopefully) don’t encounter large rocks or massive ruts - maybe the occasional pothole, but nothing as unrelenting as a backwoods single-track, that’s for sure. Spoked wheels can bend and flex to a certain degree letting you tackle the rougher terrain.
@StormyDog2 жыл бұрын
A much debated topic, as there are pluses and minuses depending on use. Here's a conclusion from another bike site: "Mag wheels are better for rigidity, speed, and lightweight. Whereas, spoke wheels are better in terms of durability and flexibility and work great for a mountain bike wheel."
@thefix-itguyreviewer81512 жыл бұрын
@@StormyDog Exactly.. We're driving e-bikes not fast bikes.. more suitable for off-roading a little bit with those big tires sitting upright.. So in general spokes are probably better for e-bikes.. The only problem is. Spoke wheels will eventually become a little warped and you have to true them yourself or pay someone. Definitely a good debate. I THINK HEAVIER PEOPLE SHOULD PROBABLY HAVE MAG WHEELS.. Even though these bikes are all rated for 330 lbs pretty much.. But the spokes definitely give you a softer ride over bumps without a doubt. Yep I know you got shocks front and back or on the seatpost and that stuff. But it just adds an extra layer of smoothness that mag wheels can't compete..
@StormyDog2 жыл бұрын
@@thefix-itguyreviewer8151 Good points. Another plus though for alloy wheels is that it's easier to go to tubeless tires. All in all though they're both good choices for general use.
@thefix-itguyreviewer81512 жыл бұрын
@@StormyDog Yes That's cool. But I think I like the tube option because if you get a flat tire at least you know you can fix it pretty easily if you keep a spare tube. You could probably fix a tubeless tire but I don't think it's as reliable. These tires are not as reliable or hold air as good as car tires especially if they're tubeless. You have to be very perfect when putting them on and all that stuff. But it is pretty cool.. I know you can do it with spokes too You just have to have the right seal inside around the spokes.. A lot of these bikes have that seal with spoke tires that come standard.. I think mine does. But I'm going to stick with spare tubes they just seem very convenient.. Another thing cool about the G-Force bike It comes with this own toolkit. Pretty much for everything on the bike.. And it comes in a nice zipper black g-force box. I also put more stuff in that box Even chain link kit That has the special pliers and a chain-like tester. You just add a tube and a towel You put in a bag on the back rack so you can change a tire anywhere. The milk crate option also works well we had a couple of big crates rectangular that were red we bought some straps they fit perfectly. So many options with these bikes lot of fun 🙂 Also something off topic because they're folding bikes.. I saw someone put three of these bikes in a Toyota Corolla. He got folding bike bags. He put two folding bikes around the size of these bikes in the front passenger seat one on the seat itself and one on the floor in front of the seat. Put the third one in the trunk. Then you could put three people in the car the driver and back seats.. probably could get three in the backseat if you're cramped. And bring the bikes anywhere. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY..

Great review Jeremiah! I sold my Heybike Mars today to purchase a faster bike with 8 gears (something you highlighted as an attribute in a number of your reviews) and a 750 Watt motor. Can you provide some insight as to the difference between the I7 and I7 pro please? Pros and cons of stepping up in models? Thanks

I don’t even think you can get the standard I7currently but the pro model has a bafang motor with a 25amp controller vs 22 and a Samsung battery according to vitilans website.

Thanks for your review JM. The I7 advertises a BAFANG Motor. In your opinion is the Bafang a better motor than the non branded motor advertised on the V3? Also, any idea why most companies don't state what brand of motor is on their bikes? I've been researching foldable bikes and want to thank you for your very thorough reviews!!
@JeremiahMcintosh2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the regular I7 has a Bafang motor but the I7 pro states that it does.I’m not sure why they don’t mention the brand name all the time but I would say the Bafang is more well-known and probably better to go with in my opinion. Although I have never had any problems with one of the non-branded motors you you never know and I’m not 100% sure but I would think the Bafang may be easier to get parts for because it’s so well-known. I believe the I 7 pro. also comes with namebrand battery.
@Bill-mf5ns2 жыл бұрын
@@JeremiahMcintosh TY, JM. I should have stated the I7 Pro. I have seen some reviews stating that name branded batteries, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, are better that non branded. Jeremiah... I'm about to pull the trigger on two Vitilans. A I7 Pro and a U7. Have you done much research on bike racks? I'm seeing that they are super expensive. We are looking at bike racks because two of these Vitilans won't fit too well in the back of our Honda CRV. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Hey Jeff….Yeah they definitely are expensive. The rack that I use is the overdrive sport 4 but only use it for 2 bikes and I’ve done a video on it if you want to check it out. I doubt it’s the best one but it’s working well for me. If you did narrow it down to the 2 Vitilans and my videos were helpful for you please consider going through the link under my Vitilan video when ordering to help support the channel and mention my name to them that I should get the commission because they always give me a hard time about it. Note..if you visited their website through google before visiting it through my link I will not get the commission so you would have to use a different device to order if that’s the case. I hate to ask and no big deal if you decide not to but if you do then thank you in advance because it all helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

As you mentioned before they upgrade things all the time. FYI The G-Force T42 bike the newest one has 11.2 amp battery ( 22 amp controller!! ) And I got mine for $1,150!! It is 1199 But I found a $50 code online. And they didn't even charge me taxes I don't know they did that.. So 1150 was for with everything.. I also contribute me buying the bike to watch more of your videos on the G-Force.. This is right from the manufacturer below. --------- From the manufacturer.. I am sorry. I just realized that I made a mistake in my last email. Differ from the old T42, the controller on the NEW T42 has been upgraded to a 22 amp controller ----------- It would be really interesting to see if there was a big difference between their older 20 amp controller versus the 22 in terms of power In your video.

@@elliotsokoloff yeah I'm well aware of the differences. I also looked up a lot of research on spokes versus mag wheels mag wheels are not necessarily better. They actually state that spokes flex a little bit and are better for rough terrain. That's not me saying it That's what the experts say.

@@elliotsokoloff G-Force You can go all the way up to a 20ah If you choose. They have 11.2, 16, and 20 I've also noticed there's not a big difference when you go up in the AH For instance One common reviewer who reviews all these bikes had a 10.5 ah battery versus a 15 did the same exact trail He only got 2 extra miles sorry that's not a big deal for a $200 more to buy the bigger battery that's also available from GeForce.. The bottom line is all of these bikes are exactly the same with a different middleman. The middleman does garbage He doesn't build anything. It's like me or you contacting the manufacturer of these e-bikes starting our own half-ass company giving out our phone number and Gmail address. All the websites look the same. They build a bike for you You just mark it up and resell it It's really kind of a joke Then you see all the reviewers on KZbin basically giving you the same exact review on every single freaking bike 🤣 It's literally like watching the same exact movie over and over again. They really are almost identical.. And built by the same manufacturers.. And that's the truth. I just got a kick out of it laughing my ass off!! The reviewers are like HERE'S THE BEST BIKE FOR THE MONEY HERE'S THE BEST E-BIKE FOR THE MONEY HERE'S THE BEST E-BIKE FOR THE MONEY IT'S ALL THE FREAKING SAME!! WITH SMALL DIFFERENCES. They all keep upgrading little by little.. constantly. Does not much difference between these bikes at all again made by the same manufacturers.

@@elliotsokoloff Here's a little education for people who want to know about spiked wheels versus mag wheels.

Which bike would you buy if you had up to $2000 to spend? Do you prefer the I7 over the new Lectric 3.0?
@chrisnicoll8156 Жыл бұрын
I depends on what your prefer. The Lectric bike and their company provides amazing service and customer support. They are also located here in the US. Vitalin does have good customer support but you must be patient. It takes 24-48 hours to get emails answered. So if you need to have an ongoing exchange of questions and answers, it may take a few days. If you are concerned about bang for the buck, I personally think the Vitalin offers more. Dual suspension, 750 watt Bafang with 25 amp controller (although I know the Lectric bikes motors are Bafang too, they just don't tell you up front for some reason). But the XP 3.0 is only a 500 watt motor. Vitalin is on mag rims. Lectric is spoke,. I don't like spokes, they require maintenance. Vitalin offers 18 month warranty. Both have hydraulic brakes. The Lectric offers hydraulic shocks whereas the Vitalin are pneumatic. Hydraulic is better. Lectric has tons of add-ons, Vitalin not so much. You have to go after market and investigate what you can do. Just a few of my thoughts. I bought both I have the i7 Pro and a Lectric.
