It is so easy to spot steroid users. They are always "puffy" in the face especially above cheeks below eyes. Their heads in general get thick and more rounded. Another way and probably the easiest way to spot it is when acne appears generally on their chest, shoulders, back and sometimes face. In some cases its simply common sense for obvious athletes like Brock Lesnar for example. Vitor Belfort is probably the most recognized athlete and fact/proof based example of how steroids/testosterone enhances your performance in any sport. He used to be jacked and level people in mma while using. Then the UFC started checking their fighters for peds and he shrunk up and couldnt buy a win, losing over and over. Then was released and started fighting in other promotions who didnt test at all. He then again got jacked and started smashing guys again. It absolutely helps athletes significantly.

I grew up with participation medals, but I wasn’t under the impression that I was a champion. It was just a souvenir, so I remember the season and the friends I made on the team. I hear his point though. If you’re trying to raise professional athletes, it’s important that they keep their competitor spirit.

My favorite fighter ever Doc, so thank you. I stop at his gym a few times and haven’t caught him there. You didn’t ask him why the Paul’s won’t fight him. He’s the best MMA guy that can actually box. He was the 18 year old champion, youngest ever at the time. Also the sad story of his sister being kidnapped and how he fights to stop it!
