The woodcutter sketch... it's pretty cool that as tech advanced, games started adding those details in rather. NPC finishes task at end of day, heads back home, putters around that area, interacts with others, sleeps, & returns. And you can follow them throughout & interact, getting different dialogue depending on where & when you see them.

What games do that?
@HostileTakeover210 ай бұрын
@@Shaicedelic The old Majora's Mask did it, but that was a major mechanic so is more akin to Life is Strange on that front. More recently, Red Dead 2, the Fable games, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley I think, Kingdom Come, definitely S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Gothic, Shenmue, Deadly Premonition, the later Hitman games to a limited degree. I think the newer Harry Potter game as well but maybe I'm thinking of mod that does it. Skyrim didn't have the unique dialogue but did have everything else. 2:59 In most games I've played, when you sell to an NPC, you get significantly less money for it then what it would cost to buy that same item from them. So by that logic, the NPC should be very happy you are selling him all those expensive items, because he could sell them for much more ( so instead of it killing his children they would get to live in a mansion) Granted, in reality it wouldn't work that way because of supply and demand ( but then the shopkeeper also wouldn't be forced to buy from you )
