Chelsea was definitely the most consistent club in the WSL and therefore won the title. Great to see how competitive the WSL has become. Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City were great contenders. Aston Villa with Rachel Daly, Kenza Dali and Jordan Nobbs might join up this top tier of clubs in the next season. Apparently Arsenal is close to finally signing Alessia Russo, which would mean that Arsenal will have a great attack, but defenders will also be necessary after the injuries by Leah Williamson, Laura Wienroither and the departure of Rafalle. The ACL injuries are a relationship test between Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema, because they have to spend a lot of time together, like for other dzring Covid lockdowns. I love the teasing interactions between Beth and Vivianne, which shows that they (still) manage not to get on each other's nerves. It will be difficult for Beth to get on the roster (which is supposed to be announced today - May 31st), mainly because of the lack of match experience. Only 50 days to go!
