Looks pretty good. Even under load it seems that not too much effort is required to turn the bolt. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video!!!! I used a hydraulic jack changing the shock on a Yamaha XSR900 and the hydralic system had an air bubble in the line and the rear collapsed once I had the shock out. I could have punched a hole in the engine case but I got lucky. Glad I happened across your review of this product. I don’t know if I’ll be changing shocks soon but I am buying this jack. Thank you for the killer video.,

Keep the jack threaded rod well oiled. I’ve got a similar one for my triumph. Easy to position the jack to get a front or rear lift. And like you say, absolutely no problem to store it.

I believe that's a Vulcan. I have a 2001 Drifter conversion from a 1500 classic. I would never use the engine base to jack the bike up from because it's not level at the three block points. I see your two rear jack points have been drilled out for use of another type of custom jack that used 'pins'. . But when used to lift the entire bike in a balanced state ( which I wouldn't attempt with this jack), I would use a couple blocks between the frame and jack platform at the center of gravity. Those two rear ears that have been drilled out are excellent points to jack the bike up from if you need the rear tire off the floor or need to get under the inside of the rear fender for electrical work like adding wiring for custom lights to your cool Harley bags. I would use at least a 1/2" thick block under each tab as to avoid the other front/center tab just forward of those two tabs and center, from interfering with the jack table making the bike unbalanced. Can't wait to get mine and experiment. I will see if the jack provides more strength by placing the bike off to the one side of the jack that get's more scissor support under the bike at a higher level and I may even use a bottle jack at the one end of the jack under the table to provide support as the scissors go more to one side as you go higher. I know this is all I need for my tasks. Nice video!

Did you initially lift the bike by the oil pan?
@Garage-wt5jl

not by the oil pan perse, but under that area. The frame is there for added support

Thinking about buying one for my Vulcan 900 because I also need to check out my steering bearings. I’m getting a wobble 35-40 mph if I let go of the bars. I’d love to know what happened with your bearings situation. Nice Vulcan btw! Stay safe keep two down!

I’ve also seen on the reviews some people use a ratchet wrench and socket to make it easier to crank the jack.

@@d.s.6920 Laaaaawd I just realized there's like 3mins of blank space at the end of this video LOL!! LAAAAWD. But yeah I can see a ratchet socket setup being simple to use. I just wanted to try out the stock tool. I actually took mine to a friend's buddies shop and they SWEAR it was just my front tire needing to be replaced so I paid for the tire replacement and NOPE I'm still getting a wobble going around curves too fast. Its scary and it sucks. I lost my job due to Covid shortly after this video was posted and it slowed me down from pursuing the problem further. I'm back working now and i'm gonna get back on it! Everyone is telling "that's just how the larger bikes are" and I'm like "SHUT UP!" lol

Amazon wants $155.99 for this now. I was considering this to lift my 60 lb generator up to the level of my rig door, then sliding it on a towel where I want it in the rig and taking it out again when I'm boondocking. You said it only weighs about 25 lbs? Wish my generator weighed that little. I can't lift it up to put it into my rig.

Wow the price has really gone up! Yeah it's a nice lift. It lifts my bike easily. It's hella light.

I’m now embarrassed I came to KZbin for instructions for my new jack… that being said, there’s still a rod and a couple of clips that came with it that I’m not sure what do with, he said justifying himself.

LOL I run to KZbin for everything too. I'm not sure why you have some many extra parts though lol.
