I use spinfit omni for realme and also Azla sedna max for tws. Works better than the stock eartips. They fit well too inside the case. What I love from realme is that the sound profile is similar within their products. There's only thin different even from their lower tier (buds air 5 & 6)

Another great review Regan! Every earbud has its compromises but a decent seal is critical, as you know, so I really appreciate it when you comment on the eartips provided, as well as nozzle and case accommodation to fit larger after market tips (and your after market suggestions). I love my Engine 4's with my alternative XL tip - great recommend on those; however my search for the perfect budget ANC buds with all the right compromises continues...

I have many earbuds sets (namely the realme buds air 3, the buds air 5 pro, the 1 more opera 5, the edifier neobuds 2 , the soundcore liberty 4 pro), and one of my best are the realme 5 pro. I love their sound signature, their sound stage, and I really like their spacial implementation that really brings something specially compared to some other brands implementations that clearly ruin the sound. What I don't like so much is the anc that is not bad but doesn't isolate sufficiently in really noisy environment, for instance if you take a plane. Now I don't understand why realme decided to release the 6 pro that is also about the same thing as the 5 pro. The soundcore is very good apart from the spacial effect, but I find them quite overpriced, and the anc of the edifier is better, but their sound is less stunning than the realme. I have narrowed down to realme air 6 pro and samsung buds 3 (not pro) , what do you suggest , only care for sound. I know its not a fair comparison price wise and in ear vs earbud, but still, help me out. And, what about dual driver vs single , does it matter here ?
@ReganCipher2 ай бұрын
Yeah it's not really possible to compare - without a seal the sound is just nowhere near as immersive, and that's the case for all semi-in-ear buds, which are only really relevant for people who can't put up with silicone tips. I have the Buds 3 in my ears currently. They fit well, feel premium and the sound is ok, but they are buggy AF. ANC often doesn't kick in properly and switching between devices isn't straightforward either. Dual drivers are less important with semi in ear too. It's more relevant with in-ear where you're going to be able to hear the crossover better and tell whether there is appropriate cohesion. The Realme are fairly cohesive - it's a trebly sound but I quite like it. You can hear what they sound like in the binaural sample

ANC is stronger on the Earfun but the Realme sound better and are better for calls. @ Thanks for the prompt reply. I’ve been using the Sony CH520 for a while but decided to get my first earbuds because those just aren’t it for workouts. But yeah I’m more of a neutral sound guy. If so I’ll lock in the Realme over the Earfuns because they seem like the more balanced package? Any other suggestions will also be appreciated

@@ReganCipher Are you sure you haven't mixed up the graphs? Hi there! I've had three pairs of Realme and have been quite impressed by the build quality and durability. With pretty much all earbuds, you're going to get one dying slightly quicker than the other. This is because even with true wireless mirroring, one bud is working harder than the other as it adopts the 'master' role. Also, if you're repeatedly charging and discharging you'll get degradation over time - doesn't matter the brand. That said, I've been using the Buds Air 5 Pro as my work earbuds most days for over a year and haven't noticed any worsening in performance. Feels to me like they offer good longevity considering the price

What’s the difference between Buds Air 5 Pro and 6 Pro? Also any sound differences?
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
I covered it in the review - not a lot, just better WR rating and capacitive controls

I'm thinking of buying a headset, but I need a headset that will not compromise me in any way, I need a good headset with good sound, bass, comfort and other features. Soundpeats Air 4 pro Anker liberty 4 NC Anker liberty 4 Which one do you recommend or do you have a different headphone suggestion? Max wallet 100$
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
There is always gonna be a bit of a compromise unfortunately. The Soundpeats are the most comfortable, but the ANC is not so strong. It's a clean sound, but not so much bass. The Liberty 4 NC is the bassist and has the strongest ANC, but isn't the most secure fitting in your ear and the sound quality is a bit short overall. The Liberty 4 ANC is OK, the sound quality is better than the other two, but the bass isn't so strong. I would watch my 'best under $100' video - it includes sound and ANC samples and there's a league table for both ANC strength and sound, as well as binaural sound tests so you can listen for yourself and decide if they sound good 👍 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHKbhK14qNyKa9k

realme buds Air 6 pro or airpods pro 2? only quality sound
@ReganCipherАй бұрын
Airpod Pro 2 are 3x the price of the Realme but not 3x better. Realme probably sound good enough for the average user and you can EQ them if the tuning doesn't suit your preference. Airpod Pro 2 has better features for iOS users and much better transparency mode

Hello 👋🏽 I just want to know, is the latency better on the Buds 6 Pro or the Buds 5 Pro, the quality of phone calls in loud noisy environments is better on the 6 Pro or the 5 Pro, and does the slide to handle the volume (like on the OnePlus Buds 3) was added on the 6 Pro? 🙏🏽 Ps: I have the impression that the microphones of the 6 Pro are not as good as those of the 5 Pro in a noisy and windy environment 🤔
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
Latency seems identical even though it says it is worse on the 6 Pro. There's no side volume control, but the controls are capacitive, so they don't trigger with a hoodie like the 5 Pro did. For calls, I think it's about the same, definitely not improved 😕
@rolins32796 ай бұрын
@ReganCipher Hmm 🤔 From my personal experience, the microphones of the Realme 5 Pro are among the best on the market, nothing to do with the 6 Pro (in this video anyway). No swipe for the volume, yet I have the impression that it is present on the 6 standards 🤔 In conclusion, the 5 Pro is a much better deal since its price has really come down. Thank you very much 🙏🏽

@rolins3279 I tested the 5 Pro here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHKbhK14qNyKa9ksi=YSl_csi4GDAxRBj0 - outdoors I think the mic performance is the same, indoors the 5 was slightly better, but neither come close to Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 or Sony Linkbuds S, which are amongst the best TWS for calls. But yes, I agree the Buds Air 5 Pro at least currently is probably the safer bet (especially at a bit cheaper price) Thanks again for watching and commenting!
@rolins32796 ай бұрын
@ReganCipher I am not questioning your methodology for testing microphones in phone calls, but as I said above, from my personal experience (and I have tested at least fifty tws), the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 are surely currently the best on the market in this area, Apple's Beats Studios Buds+ are also very, very good, and the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are easily in the top three. Qcy Melobuds Ht05 are exceptional in this area, especially for their price. But as I said, this is my personal experience, during real phone calls, WhatsApp, Zoom, Telegram calls..., and thanks to the feedback I received from my interlocutors, but also from relatives and customers to whom I recommended the earbuds mentioned above. 🙏🏽

Why is no one comparing cheap TWS to Sony's and Apple's.. ??
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
It's purely down to cost and priority. I spend a lot of my own money on earbuds that people ask for in the comments already, and whilst I agree a comparison with Apple or Sony might be useful, the indication I've had from viewers is they'd prefer comparisons between options they can afford, so they can decide what to buy. I had the XM3, and even that older model destroyed the budget set with the strongest ANC, the Liberty 4 NC.
@KahnJsu6 ай бұрын
@@ReganCipherin term of what 4NC lose to xm3? Sound quality? ANC? Mic? Battery? Or 4NC lose all of that compare to xm3?
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
@@KahnJsu just ANC. It's the one thing the cheaper brands just can't come close to Sony and Bose on. For calls, Sony isn't even that great. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 are the best around for that. For sound, there's a difference, but it's not as big as the price tag. Sony and Technics suffer much less with distortion than the cheaper brands. The better budget products have started to get the tuning right now, and a well-tuned set with average ANC, average call quality and decent battery life at $100 is gonna make more sense for many people than a $300 set with slightly better sound and drastically better ANC. At least that's how I see it anyway
@KahnJsu6 ай бұрын
@@ReganCipherah i see just anc difference. Can you help me , recommend tws under 100 usd or maybe close to 110 usd? ANC is not my priority, if there any ANC it's good to have Sound quality and mic is my priority, battery at least 6 hour
@ReganCipher6 ай бұрын
@KahnJsu not necessarily just ANC difference. The likes of Sony and Samsung design their earbuds from scratch and have a tight supply chain for components. The smaller budget manufacturers tend to use off the shelf components based on a specification and therefore have less control over the final result and possibly more bugs that they can't fix (Soundpeats for example had a bug with the left bud losing pairing from the right). If you check my 'best under $100' video you'll see my best picks. There's binaural samples, so you can hear what each of them sound like and determine which matches your idea of sound quality the most. My personal favourites for sound quality alone are Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 and Oppo Enco X2. Oppo are releasing Enco X3 soon though, so maybe wait for that if it's a big purchase? But like I say, listen to the binaural samples and decide what works for you because everyone's idea of good sound is different 👍

hello! in my country, both cost exactly the same(60$), which is cheaper than earfun air and free pro 3s(65$).... my phone only supports lhdc v3/v4 so oneplus buds 3 (lhdc v5) might not perform well for my case. So, between liberty 4nc (101$), oppo x2(120$ LMFAO), jbl live pro 2(100$), the realme air 6 pro is currently the best one right?

My niche is comparing models at around the same price so buyers can make an informed decision. If I included comparisons to Apple, the videos would be much longer. I'd also have to buy the newest generation, which I don't want to do because I don't make any money from KZbin, so unless anyone wants to buy me some I won't be reviewing them
