Share the JPC spring trick please mate?!

They trim the spring to change the relief pressure so it's around 80psi cold and at revs and about 18 on idle I think they trim 5mm off. I'm not sure how this would work for a twin cam head.

@@AboutTheBuild did you purchase through them or just trim 5mm off yours? Is there an easier way to contact you mate? I’ve got some other questions about sohc rb30’s

@@pinklightfever the first time I did the motor I used there gears that I got from them and they did it all and sent me the pump, but when I did the big motor I wanted to use the spline type gears from spool so I sold the old gears and got the new ones. This was about 5 years ago but. Just give them a call and they will sort it out

did you set your thrust bearings with the hammer trick ?

I don't know that trick? I used a dial indicator on the end of the crank.
