What I want you to think about: nevermind if you like Vladimir Putin or hate him, you have to, at the very least, recognize the fact that he is obviously speaking his own mind in the interviews and press-conferences; not just reads from the script or teleprompt, like most other politicians do. Is he completely 100% truthful? Of course not. But he speaks directly and from the heart, engaging in genuine discussions with the other parties and answering their questions head-on. That alone deserves certain respect, in my personal opinion.

Every day my respect for him grows. He has shown great restraint in past years, and during the last few months in Ukraine.
