Michael Jai White on 2Pac, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock & Will Smith, Tyson, Mayweather (Full Interview)

In this full-length interview, Michael Jai White previews one of his latest ventures, an app called "DOJO by Michael Jai." The action film star explains that he created the app because people constantly approached him about giving them martial arts lessons. He then states that you can download it at the app store. From there, Michael and DJ Vlad assess the controversial ending to the Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight on April 22nd. Michael explains the reason behind the KO was a liver punch delivered by Tank. When recalls getting him in the liver several times in the past before stating how debilitating the blow can be, based on his experience. Moving along, the two men revisit the bet made between Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia regarding all of the earnings from the fights. Michael also explains the meaning of a "Re-Hydration" clause in professional boxing.
Moving along, the Brooklyn native weighs in on the upcoming celebrity boxing/exhibition match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and an MMA fighter named John Gotti III. From there, the two men talk about Floyd Mayweather's last two legitimate fights on record with Andre Berto and Conor McGregor. This prompts Michael to state his belief that Floyd could still be a prominent professional boxer at the age of 46 because of his ring awareness and ability to re-strategize in the middle of a round.
Later in the interview, Michael shares his thoughts on Pras being found guilty of an international conspiracy. He also looks back on co-starring in "Ringmaster" with the late Jerry Springfield in the late 90s. Lastly, Michael talks about the recent health scare involving Jamie Foxx. Goddamnit! The first one Apollo beats Rocky. The second one Rocky beats Apollo. The third one Clubber Lang beats Rocky, then Rocky beats Clubber Lang in the rematch. In the fourth one Drago kills Apollo, then Rocky avenges Apollo beating Drago. In the fifth Rocky is in retirement, trains Tommy Gun who becomes a champion, then Rocky beats Tommy in a street fight. WORKERS...may be either just as strong as fighters or stronger. IRON WILL. Ima paint a picture for whoever reads this. 3 babies and a wife. i do mobile detailing for a living. about maybe 10 years ago when my kids were small. cold winter day. In Alabama (im from Louisiana) i got this last van im doing for the day..if I don't finish this car, LITERALLY we wont be able to go to Walmart for groceries and we won't eat. so cold my vacuum shorted out. to fix, cut the bad portion of the wire out, rewire, tape keep going. lady who's car im washing gets off at 5. its 4:36. GOT TO FINISH to get paid. wife and kids in the parking with me waiting. splicing the wire w my sharp pocket knife. knife slipped went through that BIG ball bone in my fuckin thumb. came out the other side. fuckin INDESCRIBABLE! I got instantly NAUSEATED. But, my son looking, my daughters, my wife... plus if i stop...no pay. that CANNOT be. so as the blood poured, (i stabbed myself through the fuckin BONE man) i used the same electrical tape i was using ro fix the wire to tape my finger up, and I proceeded to pray, finish that fuckin nasty ass van up, go collect my money, and go on to feed my family...for JUST that day... so what im saying is... gangstas think they tough, fighters think they tough, law enforcement people and military people think they tough. but i promise u, its something to be said for 42 nigga living in fuckin Montgomery Alabama, from New Orleans Louisiana that done seen HELL ... just working. we just as fuckin tough or MORE tough than the tough guys.
