Vlad doesn’t get that many responsible gun carriers are aware they have a gun on them and are MORE likely to walk away from a situation due to what COULD happen with that gun. You ONLY take it out when your life is in danger, not because you are mad or embarrassed.

But in order to carry a concealed gun you need a special permit which is rarely given unless you can prove that you are in danger or you jf your job requires it. What most people do is take their guns which they have a permit for and take out with them secretly which is illegal because they don't have a firearm permit for it to be in on their person, and very least conceal it. However, having said that I do know that it varies from state to state.

Carrying a concealed gun can land in trouble if you don't have a special permit for it to be on you. I am not talking about a gun permit that is different from a special permit which allows you to conceal the weapon. However, this varies from state to state. In states like California it is extreme hard to get a concealed weapon permit.

In this case Vlad is right, if an average person who is not trained like a soldier, marine, etc has a gun they are more like to use the gun because of a variety of things like ego, disrespect, etc. Once the gun is pulled out they will feel compelled to use it to murder the person who disrespected them. If the other person who has a gun too this can escalate quickly and the innocents around can get hurt as well. Vlad is also right in the UK we don't worry about mass shootings yeah, they are knife crimes, etc maybe one or two shootings here and there but never a massacre. The last massacre that happened in the UK was twenty seven years ago when a gun man walked in to a school in Dunblane in 1996 with a shotgun and killed what you would refer to as in states as Kindergarden children. People in the UK were enraged that innocent child were murdered and so guns were ban (before that we were like the states anyone can buy a gun). To date there has never ever been a mass shooting in the UK, where in America is every other week.

As a person who resides in the UK I know that I can go to a theatre watch a film, go to a pub (bar) or a crowded place and not have to worry that someone who has watched or played to much video game is going to come in and shoot the place up. I recently being reading about Waffle house Wendy that girl who caught the chair in mid air when it was through at her; It turns out that Waffle house has a record of fights, gun shooting, etc. In fact in 2019 James Shaw Jr wrestle a gun from a mad man who came into a Waffle house and started shooting up the place. If it weren't for James Shaw a lot more people would have died. Imagine eating at a restaurant and someone just comes in and starts shooting up the place with a gun they got legally where kids are trained in techniques on what to do if a gun man comes into a school and starts shooting. In the UK we don't teach kids techniques like that we just teach them educational stuff.

Personally I'm 29 years old I've been carrying a Glock 26 since I was 25 years old when I got my cwp and for me Carrying makes it way easier for me to back down from a situation I don't have a large ego to begin with and for me my pistol is not a respect multiplier I don't look at it as something that makes me tough for me it's just the last line of defense cuz I also practice martial arts and carry OC spray in my bag that I have with me at all times... oc spray is perfect for a situation that's between a punch and a shooting... u need to give yourself options... so depending upon the situation if someone slaps me in the face I may take him down given the opportunity... or if there's just no chance that I'm going to beat this person up cuz they're just that large then I probably hit them with the OC spray ....my firearm is only for somebody that also has a firearm or a large knife or other severe damage causing weapon..
