I love listening to your common sense skin care. I have never been offended about any of your comments on aging skin. I am 68 and really didn’t get super disciplined about my skin care until I was in my mid 50’s maybe. I woul put a moisturizer with a tiny bit of sunscreen in it, thank God, but that was about it. I’m fair complexion like you and wish I started in my teens because I definitely have wrinkles BUT I’m proud to say the brightness and clarity is beautiful. We can’t always look 20 but can try our best to take care with a couple of steps and knowing what products to use and in what order to use them is where you come in. Thank you sweet girl😎

I too have used a Bodum french press for forever. I've had the metal one for over 11 years now, but I just ordered a Nespresso machine and I'm super excited about it. I got the machines which uses the original pods, and you can get coffee from other companies that use the original pods ( i got mine from Starbucks). Some of the Nespresso machines have the newer style pods that you only get from Nespresso.
@davidn98903 жыл бұрын
I have a Nespresso Vertuo. I really like it because it’s quick and convenient in the morning. Like you, I dislike dealing with coffee grounds and using the Nespresso avoids that. I also love the crema on top of their coffee after brewing. Nespresso also recycles their capsules, they give you a little bag for them and you bring it back when it’s full. There are a few cons though: you can pretty much only buy the pods from Nespresso so you’re restricted to the types of coffee they’re offering (even though there’s quite a lot), the machine is also a bit loud if you’re sensitive to noise in the mornings. Also, you seem to enjoy large cups of coffee and Nespresso has even fewer options in their larger sized capsules. Personally, the convenience of not boiling the water and washing a coffee pot afterward is a win for me.

Since using this product my reddness has gone down significantly and my overall skin tone is really even, I don't even feel like I need to wear foundation! That had NEVER happend before. I'm not sure about fine lines and aging yet but it has really helped my overall skin health. I'm actually really amazed! I have tried so many products out there and this is really the only thing that has actually given me results without breaking me out in a rash. I wish I could find something a bit cheaper that gave me these results though! 😕

I think everyone already knows I have my french press "museum" in my kitchen cupboard. I mainly use the Bodum one, exactly like Dr Dray's; the glass and metal keeps the coffee hotter. Some french presses are just made from cheap plastic and thin recycled glass. (Check thrift stores for new/as new Bodum french presses). My DeLonghi espresso machine was a thoughtful gift from my brother. It takes the ESE (easy serve espresso) flat, round paper pods, or you can just scoop in the coffee directly...like cafés do. I bought my coffee clip/scoop on Ali Express or eBay after seeing Dr Drays. However, if you like "biggie" mugs using lots of black coffee, stick with a french press. I recently tried the Vittorio espresso coffee bags which are fantastic if you are in a real hurry and/or slept in...they are made to use like tea bags. I just thought they may actually work in my espresso machine, rather than the ESE round paper pods that I can't find in supermarkets? BTW, I enjoyed watching all the other content today too, including seeing Dray's jewellery set-up, and also all the chit chat. I remember Dr Dray choosing her glasses, which really suit her face shape. Love to all! 👱♀️❤

Hello 👋 my son gifted me the original nespresso machine the pixie many years ago it’s a discontinued model now. I love it the coffee is great, but I think you would have to use two pods on any nespresso machine to fill up your big coffee mugs 😂 the pods are recyclable and I may be late to the game but, I just purchased pods from Williams Sonoma that are biodegradable so I’ll be using those to plant seeds in my garden 🪴

I like the variety of blends and roast they have. I tried the capsule from Starbucks recently from Costco, not a fan but the original nespresso capsules are just great and they have special editions often, the milk Fr other also takes well nut milks and plant based milks. If you drink lots of coffee you may need 2 capsules per drink, I usually just press twice on the same or play with the doses depends on what I am having with my coffee and at which time of the day.
