Hi Toni and Lou. You are both fabulous together lol I so enjoyed seeing your parks and had a good old laugh to myself watching you both. I played elastic bands tied together and then we stood with them round our ankles and one person would jump in and move them side by side and do jumps on them. Also I remembered playing Jacks a small ball that had shapes you had to try and lift and catch the ball at the same time. Loved the kerb ball but we were always scared to let the ball go in someone’s garden 😂😂. Also loved my roller skates. Great memories and we were always outside. You two are a tonic and love you both. ❤❤

Hi Toni and Lou loved this when I was a kid we had a 10 bob note it was worth 50 pence but you two are too young they used to be brown colour I have had a good laugh thank you both so much xx

Honestly you both cheer me up no end. I absolutely like this style of podcast. So we were so poor too that I wasn’t allowed roller skates either, but one day my Mum found some in a charity shop, they were like yours Toni, they expanded and you put them on with leather straps on your own shoes, well these didn’t have any straps, probably why they were in the charity shop, so Mum said don’t worry I have a leather belt you can use, I was so desperate to have them and my Mum being a seamstress from Liverpool I thought oh okay she will fix it, did she eck! The belt didn’t fit through the buckle, it was also far too long! I ended up with sticky tape wrapped around them, I must have used a roll 😂 you should have seen me, my feet really hurt, I think I was cutting off the circulation 😂 So after that my friend felt sorry for me, she said don’t worry we can share hers, so we went out with one skate on each😂 , I got pretty good at it, I was like a flamingo on skates 😂 xxx
