Great vlog. PS: that was a coyote. Also, if you see a grizzly and it is stationary, move away slowly and sideways. Do NOT run, but if the bear follows, stop and hold your ground.

No, black bears you stand up to, grizzlys you play dead, face down, hands on the back of your neck, feet apart to make it hard for it to turn you over (like you are being arrested basically). If you try to stand your ground against a grizzly it will kill you, it takes it as a challenge and it knows it is far larger and stronger than you.
