The rug is actually the perfect size. As long as the front two feet of sofas and chairs can rest on it, the size is good. Maybe find some accent pillows with that color green in them to put on the sofa and love seat.

The black around the candle is definitely from not trimming the wick down! When you light the wick if the flame is black it will emit black smoke gunk into the room and will stain white/crème things like curtains, couches so definitely trim them! 🩷

Also. Soy candles work best. The candles from bath and body works, garbage.

Besides trimming the wick, you can wash the candle glass with soap&water. Will look like new😊

Your plant is probably not doing so well bc it needs to be closer to the window. I think you said Neil told you they like bright indirect light but that corner is a bit too far away from the light. If you want a plant in that corner I would suggest a ZZ plant or Snake plant! Those will definitely survive there and will probably only need watering every other week 😊 Try moving your plant next to the window and see if anything changes! I bet it would look nice next to your mirror

I'm a real estate agent & for their closing gift I'd normally do a housewarming basket. I'd go to homegoods and get a pack of hand towels, a candle, a bottle of wine & something special that was always different for each person. Loved doing that. Try to only burn SOY wax candles. They burn so much cleaner and will not produce the soot. Sometimes it can even accumulate on your ceilings without you knowing. Soy candles are everywhere. Give it a try.

Police officers will tell you NOT to park far away from the store. Get your exercise another way. Park close, next to a cart storage area, so you can quickly return your cart. Be aware of your surroundings-- especially when carrying packages, and if it is dark-- park in a well lit area. (Pro tip.)

You need to trim the wicks on your candles each time you light them then you won't see all the black soot. I LOVE THE CHAIRS! I feel like you could even bring them in the room a bit if you wanted because they aren't overwhelming, they are easy to walk around, and they are GORGEOUS! Can't wait to see what table you put in between. The house is coming togehter! Yellow jackets are not bees! They sting on purpose, bees really don't unless you're botthering t hem too much. If I remember correctly, you won’t have a reaction the first time you get stung. That’s when you are introduced to the toxin. It’s the second time you get the reaction. My uncle was not allergic to penicillin the first time he received it, but the second time was horrific!

It would not let me edit my comment. Store potatoes in a cool dark area away from onions. The black on the candle glass can be wiped off with a damp paper towel it usually happens because the wick is to long. Just trim it shorter with scissors. Those autumn scones would look great on your mantel with some autumn eye less gnomes..Fall blanket and fall pillows in the livingroom. Just some decorating ideas. Eat live active culture yogurt for your stomach pains and fermented sauerkraut great for your gut health. I was diagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks. Its not easy but I try to work through it. I have not had a panic attack in 15 years. I will always have anxiety because I am allergic to the medicine unfortunately 🙃 Love and hugs 🤗

I make art commissions- acrylic/mixed media paintings, and I would sooooo love to make something for that wall in your Clancy room!!! I use Diamond Dust which is basically tiny sprinkles of glass that add a really stunning sparkle to a piece and it looks amazing in both bright and dim lighting. I’d love to make you something maybe a pink and white ombré type of piece or anything at all, if you’re ever interested!!!! Something girly but expensive-looking and unique. I went to yankee candle the other day and the lady said the black ring happens from not trimming the wicks. Every 4 or so hours of burn time clip the wick down a little and that black ring won’t happen.

Don’t put the negativity into your mind about plants! KZbin is a HUGE resource for plants. Look up “braided Chinese money tree care” and you’ll find a ton of resources. Being a plant lady, I think it’s not getting enough light, and may be a tad overwatered by the look of the leaves going out. Just moving it out of that corner a touch will help it get more light- you can do this! That room is too perfect to not have plants!❤️
