I think how you rotate all of your products so they use is a fantastic idea! I do not have a large collection at all but I do have those products that I just use over and over and totally forget about others , I think all of us could benefit from going through everything we have say once a month and rotate what we use. You bought the same coffee maker I bought three years ago when I started grad school! 🥰 You only need to use filtered water with it if you have hard water (like I do!) I live near a river and we could start a rock quarry here, no lie. Be sure you descale it whenever it tells you to (it’s easy with vinegar from Costco). Also, clean the coffee chute when you empty the filter each time so it doesn’t build up coffee grounds. I know this sounds troublesome but it’s just getting to know the machine, how it works and what it needs to function well and do that in your routine. Mine has worked well for three years and makes delicious HOT coffee! We adore that machine.

Phase 10 is my favorite card game! Over the past few years, 5 crowns has won out among my family and we play it the most. Its simple enough for new players to catch on and for my elderly grandparents to handle, but since each hand has a different number of cards and a different wild card, its interesting enough to keep us all engaged even though we play regularly. Jess, maybe try something larger scale to simplify and fill space? You have a lot of smaller pieces in that area that are similar size. That framed pc was perfect above the chair, and I think the new plant might look nice in place of the vase on the dresser and possibly put something bigger in place of the new plant to fill the space? Or if you don’t want to rearrange that much, maybe just move the striped vase where the tan one is (if it’s taller) and move the aqua frame somewhere else off camera. Just some friendly suggestions. That you probably didn’t want. 🤦‍♀️😬 I apologize.

Love Breville products, too! I’m sure you’ve done your research on bean to cup machines, but it’s best to avoid oily coffee beans and flavored beans. I love dark roast, but since they are typically oily, I found out the hard way (and expensive way) that they’ll clog up the grinder.

Pro tip from a former barista, empty the bean hopper on your coffee maker once a week and wipe out with a lightly dampened cloth. You want to get the oils from the beans out of there. They affect the taste of the coffee over time. Your maker also probably has something to clean the internal parts. The grinds and broken beans will damage things over time. Check with the manufacturer. Take care of the investment you made. Good coffee is worth it.

We don’t have that brand of coffee pot, but we have the Cuisinart that is similar in that it grinds the beans. And yes, you definitely have to keep up with keeping the chute from the grinder to the basket cleaned out. But overall i really like it.
