That oil cleanser is one of the fewest out there without capric triglycerides and ethylhexyl palmitate. Those two ingredients break me out like crazy! So their formulation at least, in my opinion, is more novel for a cleansing oil

Hi Dr Dray, update re the AVEENO Calm & Restore Oat Gel Moisturiser not having centella in the UK version, I contacted them and they said "We can confirm the product does not have centella in it. In the UK we market a wide variety of products, however they are marketed and manufactured in a different way than in our other branches of the company." So there we go - what a shame!

My go-to oil cleaner is the Softy-Mo from Japan. Recommended by Dr Dray years ago here on YT. I have tried different ones but ALWAYS go back. It’s the best with waterproof mascara with zero eye irritation. Can’t say enough about it.

I didn't like my robot vac. I bought the one I did (a self-empty Shark model that would return to base and recharge itself) because tests showed it picked up more than others. But I was really unimpressed. It seems good for hard floor, maybe very low-pile rugs, and pet hair. They are not good for lifting dust/dirt out from deep in medium-pile carpets. They just aren't strong enough to suck to that extend AND move themselves around. Vacuuming immediately after with my upright corded Shark would bring up so much more that it missed that unless you have pet hair, it just isn't worth it. After a couple months of testing, I cleaned it up real good and returned it. I think I decided on getting hard flooring throughout the main floor later, so I might buy one at that time, because it seemed to do well enough in the kitchen.

We use our IRobot almost daily and love how it keeps the dust down. Still clean corners by hand but only takes a minute. Our house is fairly large so we section off half at a time with the lighthouses.

My favorite part of cleansing is the IM RICE POWDER CLEANSER FROM TONYMOLY. Add a few drops of water and wash away! And second I adore the COSRX snail serum, I seriously don’t know if it does anything for the skin (anyone have results?) It’s just such a pleasure to rub the slimy nail mucin all over my face and neck. I will continue to re-purchase it just for the enjoyment!

I’m an esthetician and I use spicules in treatments for clients. I wondered the same thing with the foreign body reaction, but the way they work (and it should only be used by someone who’s been trained to do this) is that they’re worked into the outer layers of the skin only (so reaching the bottom layer of the epidermis). They do hang out there, but the treatment causes increased skin cell turnover kind of like a chemical peel or enzyme exfol. and the spicules shed up and out with the rest of the skin as it flakes off. The training with that treatment is super important so that they aren’t pushed too deep. Terrifying seeing people doing it to themselves without any training or understanding of how it works!

Hi Dr. Dray! Thanks for your videos. Always look forward to them. I recently saw a video about women in their 80’s and 90’s swearing by Nivea crème keeping their skin soft and subtle. Was doing some research, looking at the ingredient list and there are like 3 different versions of the creme. The U.S. brand manufactured in Mexico, German and Japan version. Would love to see you do a review on all 3!

The Tresemmé Clarifying (aka Horrifying) shampoo stripped my hair something shocking, even though I just applied it to my scalp once. My hair is naturally oily, poker straight, lightened and past my shoulders. After using this shampoo it began to tangle easily (esp. at night), when it never had that concern before. I didn't want to waste my purchase, so now I use it to clean my hair brushes & combs. After some TLC and a trim my hair is slowly recovering. I have been loosly braiding my hair/soft rollers at night with a silk bonnet. I prefer to look more like Veronica Lake than The Creature From The Black Lagoon...or Beetlejuice! 👱‍♀️❤

I am currently using sweet almond oil and rose hip oil as a part of my cleansing routine. I exfoliate with an acne cleanser first rise and pat dry then put on a thick layer of a mix of the two oils. I leave it on for about 5 minutes then I wipe it away using a clean soft towel. I am 41 and I am acne prone but this cleansing method makes my skin softer and I never breakout from it. Plus it forms a good base on my skin before I start using my using my retinol resurfacing treatment.

Wow!!! So surprised that you thought the Peach & Lily cleansing oil has a terrible smell. Either my sniffer or yours is off. I’ve been using this product for about a year and to me, it has no fragrance nor a synthetic plastic smell. To each his own but I will say as someone who breaks out like a 12 year old, this oil cleanser doesn’t have any of the pore clogging nasties that are generally present in oil based cleansers. It beautifully removes my long wear makeup without clogging my pores or leaving an oily residue (which can happen with oil or balm cleaners). Certainly, to each it’s own but I was surprised by your harsh review.

Hello Dr. Dray, HERE’S A TIP, with a scissor cut the cetaphil relief cream tube and you’ll see all the cream inside which you couldn’t get to by squeezing it. It’s a great trick I learned whereby I get to use up every little bit that would otherwise have been wasted .

Yes, I cut my "almost empty" tubes in half. I use the contents of the crimped end first, then use it to cover over the open end of the other half. Much easier & neater than using a clip. 👱‍♀️❤

Even in this fragrance-free world I think if you call something "Peaches and Lily" it should smell like peaches or lilies! I splurged on the glass skin spray (sticky) years ago and was so disappointed. Peach Slices has really good products but I still wish it smelled like peaches. 🍑

I hate squeeze tubes! I end up cutting off the end and dipping into it with a make-up brush, then rolling the end back down and closing it with a bag clip. What a pain.

Hi AngelIna, In case you missed it, I've mentioned before that I cut "almost empty" tubes in half. I use what's in the crimped end first, then place that part over the top of the other part to cover over the open end. It's much easier to get the product out and it's neat, so you don't have to get a clip. I hate wasting product also. 👱‍♀️❤

If you're looking for a beautiful, lovely-smelling oil cleanser, get the Tatcha Cleansing Oil. Yes, it's absurdly pricey, but the smell (for me, anyway) us HEAVENLY and the product works really well. I splurge on that about once every two years, then use the Elf Cleansing Balm in between bottles of Tatcha.

I’ve come across Maxclinic and they have a few cleansing oil/oil foam products. Curious if you’ve ever heard of them? The one I’m looking into is the Blue Tansy Oil one. But I feel like I can’t find too too much info on Blue Tansy Oil. Any thoughts??

I'm not sure if you have covered aftershave but is that just a gimmick? Is it just a moisturizer? Are there any you recommend? I know the majority of your audience is women but are there any products that are more beneficial for men or is it all the same?
