First of all, I would like to commend both of you for not giving up. You really went through a difficult and expensive ordeal just to go to the Philippines. Next, I want to say that I admire Sol after knowing that she used to be a teacher. I am a teacher for 24 years and I can't see myself doing anything else. Leaving your jobs takes a lot of guts for reals! Lastly, I cried toward the end of this video...specially when you had success getting a ticket from Brazil. It goes to show that you are serious about your new endeavor. It was all or nothing! Whatever it is that you plan to do in the Philippines, I pray that it will bring you joy and success! You both deserve it! I am a Filipino-American living in California, and I agree that there are people out there from under privileged countries experiencing so much suffering just to travel outside of their country. I'd still like to say this advice to you guys, keep your expectations at the middle, philippines is kind of a hit or miss in experience, there are people who scams foreigners and raises their prices when they see that the people they're serving isn't a local. commuting in manila is also terrible, lots of traffic everywhere. it would be nice if there's a local who can help you navigate your way in manila. racism is also not new here, i hope you do not encounter such stuffs. there's always good and bad, but i hope you experience more good than bad, i hope you guys get to travel here safely and enjoy your time here :) Happy New Year!!

One thing I advise to foreigners when they visit Philippines is not all are expected to be warm and it can be different from what you already picture the country to be. Go to the right and trusted people that are kind enough to guide your journey. Foreigners, like any other countries, are susceptible to scams and exploitation. I'm hoping for the best in your stay, and I'm more excited that if ever you'll attend an sb19 concert and experience the filipino fans, it's a 💯 experience that you'll never forget 😊

Make sure you establish local contacts/friends to pick you up at the Airport as Taxis are hard to book for those coming into the airport without anyone picking them up. Even locals are having a hard time getting out of the airport if they have no one to pick them up.
