Yeah you’re totally right about the references in Star Wars for ex: German stormtroopers and in Star Wars just being called stormtroopers. Chancellor palpatine like how hitler was Chancellor. Lot of nudges to history

A little tale about a German family during the 1930's and 1940's, because the Nazi party never had a majority in the German parlement (43% at most). A lot of Germans did not support the Nazi party.

I had a woman who lived through Kristallnacht come into my school and tell us about it. I found it really interesting, hearing first hand someone who as a small child walked through glass up to her shins, and hearing how she had to flee Germany to live. Such a fascinating war and it's stories about it.

George Lucas drew part of Star Wars story from WW1 and WW2 same as Tolkein. It is not a coincidence that the Empires elite soldiers are called Stormtroopers same as Germany's elite units from WW1
