Such a cool interview! Had the chance to meet Noah on a ride just outside Boulder doing some base training in the off season earlier last year. Very down to earth guy, interestingly was naturally asking him the same questions without really knowing him much! (like doing VO2 year round, anaerobic efforts in crits) Dude was doing three hours that day in low-mid zone 2 on the rollers/flats. Easy to ride with, but one thing that stood out was his ability to corner and maneuver turns. Probably just dreaming to be as good of a bike handler, but had to pretty much surge over 450-500w to keep up with him whenever a turn came. Looked back at his ride on Strava and he was pretty much cruising on turns! We had around the same threshold and weight in the high 300s, but amazing how completely different of a story it is when it comes to skills and anaerobic ability.
